So cool to run into this! My son was on snare that year. I got to see lots of the evening runs as a volunteer on Food Crew!

I feel bad for this guy’s phone whenever he is listening to music. I can’t help but to tap on my phone when a good beat is playing. I can only imagine the abuse to the accelerometer embedded in his phone. Lol.

Uh boy - I just came from listening to his 2019 I&E. Crazy. We're going to see this young man kick David Child's ass at some point in the maybe not very far off future, or Steven Mead, or whoever your current favorite euphonium player in the world is. That fourth movement was one of the few I've heard played where the melody note had a focus and beautiful tone. Many pros seem happy if you can tell they're hitting the correct note with all those sixteenths / thirty second notes flying around. Simply amazing. I'm now a fan.

This angle is far better than the other videos I've seen. I've seen some that have mics that give Bryce's drum a nice *thud* sound, but at this angle you can see his hand shape and technique a lot better. It amazes me as to how "efficiently" he's able to play. I'll take videos like this over boom-y audio any day.
