Is the reticle useable at its lowest magnification? Or do they fade out and disappear? And, what minimum magnification does it take to see and aim with the centre floating dot?

Question Please. If you change ammo, do you need to redo the test or do you think the same torque (IN APARTICULAR RIFLE) will be the same with ALL ammo? Thx
@midwest_long_range3 күн бұрын
Never tested torque range per ammo but it’s an interesting concept but usually we just do this once and leave it for all but that’s a test I’d like to try for sure.
@glennjames17563 күн бұрын
My thought is, if you are even shooting the same ammo, and you change lot numbers with a different velocity the torque required could change because the harmonies would probably change. The whole 22 LR rabbit hole keeps getting deeper

Your expensive completion .22cal Long Rifle barrel has a chamber with tight tolerance than a standard .22cal rifle. The ammunition that your expensive match grade chambered barrel has marking on the ammunition box “CIP”. Your rifle works best with “CIP” ammo.😊

Can you do a ProMag folding stock on a Savage 22 with a red dot a tripod shock resistant grip like a skeletal like slide with a suppressor add comp barrel?
@hunterscott557Ай бұрын
Took my factory trigger apart and replaced the spring with one out of a bic ink pen and it breaks consistently at 1lb and as crisp as it gets. Basically free if your staying cheap

my question is: Can you alter the stock (flatten it out for the Arca Rail) and still be legal for base class? Thx for your video!!

All that money, and it still doesn't shoot as well as a bone stock MK2..

Love the rifle. Why don't you shoot it in some of these "budget" rifle shoots going on here? Would be a great candidate, and would probably score well. Maybe.. Nah, don't use a chassis. It doesn't need it. Keep the cheap Burris on it, and show us how it shoots. Don't be bashful.

I shoot a Lilja 21" drop-in barrel on a CZ457 action and a Timney trigger. This barreled action sits in an MDT XRS almost chassis. It shoots SK ok, but it loves Eley Match, Tenex, and even Team. It also loves Lapua Center-X. When changing between Eley and Lapua, I also have to adjust the headspace or the groups don't shrink like they do with proper headspacing.

I’m a fan of the 22 creedmoor, mine shoots 80.5 and 85.5 grain Bergers under a dime size hole at 100 yards. Love it! Also, it’s a bull barrel, bench rest only, 15.5 LBS.
@andrewmckee1156Ай бұрын
I have a Shilen SS select match on my 22 creedmoor, shoots 85.5 grain Bergers under 1/2 MOA. I’m a fan of their barrels. Going to buy another one for my 6 GT. If you live in north Texas, I would advise going to the spring garage sale, you’ll meet some awesome Americans and get to see the barrel making process in action. Highly worth the visit!!!!

First off I appreciate the time effort and money that you spent making this video! Here is my question/observation/statement: I assume (and we ALL know what that does!) that most competition shooters LOT test their ammo to find the one that shoots the best and reduces the flyers in their particular rifle. Well, why would someone not do the same with the cheaper ammo to see if they can eliminate or reduce the flyers? The CCI and Federal seemed to have some real promise in your rifle.Imagine lot testing those for BEST accuracy. Just my thoughts.

Hi, thanks for the review and showing the installation. I checked their website on only saw maybe 2 sizes?? I'm interested in running a Savage B series with a "V" barrel, .80 in. Are these universal, or have to match your specific barrel diameter?
