That would depend upon the Individual that's behind the opponent, what kinda 🤔 mindset 🤔 does he have, we all have a spirit that's within us only to be seen, not enough

Sportsmanship is under-rated. This is refreshing to see in a world where many people think winning is everything.

As a runner, you don't give up victory after all the sweat and tears you go through leading up to the race. For Ivan to put sportsmanship over himself cost him victory but he became a champion on that day.

What a great video and great moment for Matt Ziesel. Great video 3MV. I'm so glad I could be a part of his story and your video. Thanks so much again for sharing.

A great story and a book well worth reading. Stigler's boss, Adolf Galand, later said he probably would have done the same thing. Those two older gents toward the end of the video are not Brown and Stigler. A Higher Call would make a great movie. I've read A Higher Call, and highly recommend it. Toward the end, you will not be able to put it down. Remember, not all Germans were hard-core Nazis. Apparently Stigler was not.

Luckily players these days usually get flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct when they act like this

The bf 109 that is shown in the start of the video is not German, I believe this to be a Finnish bf 109. They also used the swastika but tilted 45 degrees compared to the nazi symbol
