I don't agree with the other comments. Sounds pretty good to me. If you've seen Evan / Lemonheads shows it's totally normal for him to zone in and out with effort/ concentration, and just go off and freestyle things for a while. He's done it every time of the 5 or so times I've seen him at least. I really like it. It's interesting and entertaining. Like he could completely fall off the cliff any moment.

@@sheransullivan3853 I had no idea this “new” lead singer has been with the band since 2007!!! That’s 17 years - he’s not new. I don’t know if they’ve recorded anything since Steve left the band.

I absolutely love this song. It’s become one of my very favorite songs, period, let alone my favorite Foo Fighters’ songs! The lyrics, the tone of the guitar ringing, the build, the energy, the release… it’s beautiful, sentimental, raucous, fun, driving and melodic, all at the same time. I frickin’ love it! This is the song I was hoping to catch on video. 😊

Huh? Evan is way past it here but this song was on college radio long before the Foo Fighters were even a thing. It was released in 1992. Dave was in Nirvana.

The guitarist is actually the singer’s son! I believe he was new to this particular song at the time. It does sound like he was tripping on the pick. Just takes more practice…
