Craig davis was a very good player at Collingwood topped there goalkicking 2 or 3 times Kicked almost 90 goals one year, career was cut short suffered a bad injury in 83 Retired at 29 Made a comeback with Sydney 5 years later

I was at Victoria Park on an end of season footy trip the day McKenna kicked 16 against Sth Melbourne. 23-Aug-1969. It was frigid that day. If you stood still you'd freeze in place. I reckon McKenna was just trying to keep warm.

He seemed to have it all. Pace, athleticism, lovely leap and great hands and could kick on both sides of his body. What the hell derailed his career?
