Just got my 241 on and so far, for just street, I hate it. Does not want to turn, takes more effort than the oem tire. Is not neutral, and It seems to bounce like a rubber ball at about 45 mph. Maybe good in the dirt, but I would never recommend this tire for any street riding.
@mikefrank4991
@mikefrank4991 2 ай бұрын
It may be possible that your tube has not seated and you are getting that bounce. You may want to try to inflate more. I had some bounce also when I first put the tire on but it definitely smoothed out.

@@mikefrank4991 Follow up: Took it back to Cycle Gear and they tried another tube, and moving tire around rim and rebalance. Nothing worked, the tire was not round and the manager agreed that the soft knobbies would squirm around on hard pavement. The rubber is very soft. We couldn't believe it was DOT approved. There are other 241 owners on line that had the same experience. Tire was defective. I had dealer put stock tire back on and issue a refund for that Shinko.

Just checked this place out with my honda crf300l, was my first time doing any serious offroad stuff like this but was alot of fun. I tried to keep it on the easy double tracks but accidentally got lost down some narly single tracks that i didnt think i was gonna be able to make it out of but the crf and i managed to pull through haha. There was one were a fallen tree blocked the entire path leaving me stuck but i barely managed to find a path around after alot of effort.

I love this route. Been doing it for about 4 years now. You should take the tw down fs 28-2. Its on the other side of the church. Goes up to the top of the mountain over there. Theres a memorial sign for a plane crash. Then down the back side of the mountain is 4wd high clearance classification with the FS. Alot of fun and dumps you in a backwoods neighborhood with no service so download maps ahead of time. Should be an easy ride back to GA52 near amicalola falls

Funny. My TW200 recreational purpose was TO LOSE THE SUN. By ride discovery and exploring. In where the sun never shines. Between 1964 and 2023. To go where our species never did. I ride slow to study bedrock exposure. One discovery was a slow rotation of misty vapor within a vacated dirt road. Expelled cold air seeped up to meet warm sunlight in bowl-shaped location. Beautiful. A day dig allowed my Yamaha to roll from sunshine to darkness below. Switching on the high beam to see further. Afterward, making sure it was a road invisible to passer-by. Feel free to go find it.

Yes, I was there on TAG (Tennessee/Alabama/Georgia) rides. With regional National Speleological Society members to go discover cave entrances and explore them. Leaving those who were clueless touring roadways and easily found trails. Putnam County, for example, will tell visitors they have 10 thousand known caves for visitors to go find. B, rather than go get directions our TAG people go where none of our species have been before. Me? I looking for extinct humanoids. To learn if they died underground while adventuring ( )
