Coastal erosion it's part of the natural cycle of this planet let's stop blaming mankind for all these ills humans are not at fault for coastal erosion matter in fact all those buildings and houses and trailers shouldn't be that close to the edge.

Great music by the instrumental rock band Unicorn Heads whose lead guitarist Grahame Lesh so happens to be the son of the late Grateful Dead Nass player Phil Lesh (RIP). The name of this tune is “Light Expanse.” Fantastic drone camera work!

It's not EROSION. The land is shaped by the sea. Only a fool would think the coast is a constant and not a variable

See where the trees are growing? That's the original extent of the cliff ; before they extended it out over the coastline.

All those piled up tires and junk cars, just waiting to be dumped into the ocean - would be best if the landowner were responsible for the clean-up and not allowed to just dump it.

IIRC When ravens make that quiet clicky noise and murmur, that's their affectionate voice, the little calls they would make to their family or mate. They may be a goofball but they definitely see you as a big friend!

I am watching the opening of the video up to 1:42 : This area of coastline has been structurally reinforced. They have driven in a row of pilings, bridged them with a wall, and fronted them with riprap to break the force of the waves.

A great vid. But, the cliffs were eroding and all manner of things were falling off them, when I was in grade school in Belmont the in the 1950's. So what's new for those not in the know? It is simple, gravity, sedimentary soil, and moving water just do not play well together.

This is outrageous. Who gave these fools permission to build anything near the ocean? All structures should be at least, a minumum of 100 miles from the ocean, or a cliff, or anyplace where tornados or hurricanes, or floods or droughts or high winds, mosquitos or feral cats or....

There are three very noticible observations regarding this coastal erosion, the beach boulders are not helping, the foundations are nothing but soft sand or clay, the houses are constructed with wood. All these are not going to survive strong sea surges. I know when these properties were constructed, coastal erorision was never considered, but as long as the north and south polar ice keeps melting, the seas will rise, and they are rising fast. Only when all the ice is gone will the sea rise stop, and that's not going to be good for humankind, the animal kingdom or weather systems. Scientists have been warning us about this for decades now . They have been monitoring the Polar ice since the 19760's and they were front line witnesses to shrinking glaciers and Ice Bergs, but nobody listened to them. Fossil fuels are the number one contributing factor to climate change, and though EV's are on the rise, we may be too late to stop the complete melting of the Polar ice, ice that has been around for millions of years being destroyed by a species that has only been here for seconds on the evolution clock . We hear people accuse many creatures of being vermin and pests, well as far as I'm concerned, its us Humans that are the vermin and pests, and if animals could talk they would call us the vermin and the pests, and rightly so.
