I know oh too well what breaking your back does to you. I'm 6ft4 and there's NEVER a day that goes by without my back giving me hell, whether it's the top or the bottom and my back can "go" anytime for no reason at all. Makes you craby, can't move much and you try staying lying down. I understand why Larry Bird wasn't the player he was. Your back is everything and nothing else matters. Can't concentrate on anything else.

I would have pushed up on him when the first marriage fell apart. Tameka was Usher stylist first and she styled Chilli to when her and Usher was still together as a couple. After this video we are back together. She agreed to this video and he said okay. His first wife was like no after the divorce

The sportswriter at 1:10 just pushes talking points without being specific. The CRA of 64 was not in anyway changed in the 80s. Just a political talking point

They asked if the "N" word was ever used about Magic Johnson and Arsenio said he doubts it. I hate to compare Magic to OJ Simpson but it reminded me of OJ before he became a murderer . Everyone liked OJ regardless of race, he was revered by everyone, color didn't mean anything. Same thing with Magic, he wasn't known as that black player from Los Angeles,he was known as Magic and Larry was known as Larry or Legend. It's even more so now, they are forever connected. Sort of like Ali and Frazier or Lennon and Mc Cartney. You cant mention one without the other. You can't mention Larry without Magic or Magic without Larry. I was and still am a Celtic fan ,of course I rooted for Bird over Magic but you had to respect both teams because they had fantastic players!! To me that was the best years the NBA has ever had. From 1980-2000 that 20 year run is the best by far! The competition fierce, the rivalries so strong that opposing players hated each other, nobody were pals and talked to each other nicely before a game. It was war and it was for keeps!!! Aside from Bird and Magic ,there were many other great team and individual rivalries. There were even great rivalries between players and fans!! Reggie Miller and Spike Lee!!! The Pistons and everyone!! I don't care what anyone says about todays game, it doesn't come close to the intensity , the quality and the toughness of the days of DrJ, Magic, Bird, Jordan, Isiah, Dominique, Lambieer , Stockton, Malone,Ewing, Reggie Miller, McHale and Barkley!! Save your breath about today's pussy style basketball it doesn't compare. It was all out war and I just loved watching those great rivalries, you could feel it in the air,even watching games on TV. It was that real,that good ,that serious and that intense!!!

Arsenio hall is a racist piece of 💩! It was just competition between 2 good old friends when off the court Bird & Johnson. On court it was a Rivalry, of course. For goodness sakes Larry had Johnson over to his mother's house and his mother cooked for Johnson give me a break Arsenio!! What a black racist Jackazz you are. Thomas & Rodham also black racist pieces of shit because they were losers and couldn't beat him on the court! Enough said!

If Bird never saw skin color why did he make a comment about the sport of Basketball was a black man's sport in Sports Illustrated while in college at Indiana St.

Arsenio was right about the media they played a huge role in the career of Bird and white ppl in the current era still act like he was the only white guy who was in the NBA.I guess that they forgot about ppl in the '70s like Bill Bradley,Doug Collins,Bill Walton during his days in Portland,Rick Barry,Dave Cowens,Jerry West.

Generally I like this documentary, but it says some really stupid things for dramatic effect... 08:00 - Larry passing the torch? They played each other in college. 08:11 - "After vanquishing Bird...Magic wasn't done winning." Small detail you left out...neither was Bird. They both continued to dominate. I'd like to think journalism has gotten past its need for dramatic storytelling, but...
@Matt-ng4tj2 жыл бұрын
You can't SAY THAT anymore.. OR ELSE you'll be deemed "WAYCIALLY INSENSITIVE!" (by some IlluminatI CRUMB SUCKERS who could care less about any race anyhow... They only care about themselves and their see-through virtual signaling!)
