I do have Yelan and use her for normal double hydro Hu Tao. But I wasn't sure if Yelan + Furina would be enough hydro for Hu Tao's CA + Plunge. I haven't done any thorough testing though. Also, XQ is just my default whenever I play Hu Tao, for the interruption resistance as you said, the better hydro app, and the healing which can be useful in some situations. :)

I haven't looked at team total damage, but for Hu Tao's personal damage, 6 N1CP (difficult to execute) or 5 N2CP (easier to do) have about 15% to 30% higher motion value (aka talent multiplier) than 9 N1C or 8 N2C. That's without adding Xianyun's or Furina's buffs, but also doesn't include Yelan's damage. That also assumes you hit the collision plunge in addition to the low/high plunge attack. Edit: Here are the spreadsheet numbers I ran. It assumes talent level 10, because Hu Tao deserves that crown. :) imgur.com/cUgvYhL

Depending on her constellations and if u have her sig, and since on this particular team she is solo anemo u might need up to 230% er or smth

In the video my Xianyun had 150% ER, but XQ also had Favonius, and Xianyun caught some of XQ's particles. In general, for solo Anemo with a Favonius teammate, I'd aim for 180-190%. Without a Favonius teammate, 220-230%.

Melt can be tricky to setup. But don't give up, you can do it! Just need to be efficient with rotations and Ganyu's charge attacks.😊

It will be harder but possible if your other side is fast enough. KenRurouni posted a video earlier of Ganyu solo with Prototype Crescent, which is similar in strength to Hamayumi. R5 Hamayumi used to be my Ganyu weapon before I got Amos, and I still use it for solo sniping in overworld because her charge attack hits harder with full energy on Hamayumi than Amos. But once you start using burst, Hamayumi falls behind.

Ganyu's flower will taunt an operative to use its shield as its next action, but you need to make sure the flower explodes *before* the shield goes up, because once the shield is up, the operative will teleport to whoever attacks the shield. So basically, 1) Place flower to taunt one operative, run next to other operative to taunt that one. 2) Flower explodes. 3) Both operatives put up their shields. 4) Attack both operatives quickly, they will both teleport to you. After that, operatives will be in sync. Continue attacking and taunting with flower, just make sure not to get between them. As for the damage, I don't know what to say other than there are many other videos of people who clear faster than me. I watch and learn a lot from them, and encourage you to check them out too! Sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question. If you're asking why no one uses those units, I think people do, at least Fischl and Zhongli are very popular. If you're asking why no one uses them together in a team, well, it doesn't incorporate freeze or melt, which is what you look for in a Ganyu team.

@@onebreath8854 Thanks for the comment! I think WT and BS are very close for solo Ganyu, maybe BS is a little ahead if you use burst often. But I still would like BS for Ganyu freeze team and Ayaka. I haven't played Ayaka much because I've had terrible luck farming BS, but I want to use her more in the future. :)

I don't play on controller, so I can't say. But I imagine it's not that different from mouse and keyboard. The main thing is getting the timing down.

Usually you want to dash in the opposite direction of where you are attacking, so that once you pass through the enemy, your dash takes you back to the enemy. Edit: For example, if the enemy is to the right, charge attack through the enemy, then hit dash, then press left as you're dashing so you move back to the enemy during your dash.

@@KagamiSama right so the problem I have is that if I charge forward and dash backwards, I need to press w again to turn around and face the boss

@@michaelyang838 Oh, in that case I suppose you could turn around at the end of the dash to face the enemy. Or delay hitting backwards during your dash so half your dash is forwards and half of it is backwards. But also, even if you are facing away from the enemy, Hu Tao's charge attack should automatically target the closest enemy without you having to turn to face them yourself unless you're really far away.

The steps are really simple, but the timing is tricky. 1. Hold down mouse button. This will make Hu Tao do her charge attack. 2. As soon as her charge attack hits the enemy, press space to jump to cancel the rest of the charge attack animation. If you are right next to an enemy, the jump cancel happens immediately after you start the charge attack. Visually you'll see the tip of her spear *just barely* appear in front of her. Some people also listen for the sound of her charge attack as an audio cue. Getting the timing down isn't easy. If you do it too early, you completely cancel her charge attack. If you do it too late, she'll still end up far away from the enemy. This is definitely a "practice makes perfect" kind of thing. Some things to look out for: - Hu Tao's attack animations are a lot faster when she's in her E (skill) state. So if you want to practice jump cancels, do it while she's in her E state. - Make sure you're not holding down a directional button when you jump, otherwise you'll end up jumping in that direction rather than straight up. For dash cancels, you dash instead of jump to cancel the animation. You also need to control the direction of the dash so that you end up back at the enemy, which means you generally want to dash in the opposite direction of your charge attack. Congrats on getting Hu Tao! I hope you have fun with her! Don't worry if you can't get the timing down right away. It's not easy, but you'll get a better feel for it with time.

Constellations on characters like Xingqiu, Fischl, Xiangling, and Bennett can make a big difference, along with refinements on weapons like sac sword and the favonius series. (And of course, the endless grind for better artifacts...) You'll get there eventually! Best of luck!
