Technically, theft is to deprive an owner or his/her property with the intent of never giving it back. However, unauthorized use is when a person takes something without the permission of the owner, but the person has intent to return the said same property. So, having left his ID at the store he could argue the definition of the law doesn’t fit the crime because he had intended to return the property and that is why he left his ID. Just a thought !

Bob Wells does not glamourize van life. He has blogs that show people living ok in their cars, also he has blogs that explains how to live safely and also gear that works and ones that are not as good. High costs of living and low income has caused people to try van living and for others with more money move up to more comforable vehicles. People who quit nomad life, did not like moving along every 14 days and other problems. Again Bob Wells never presented in his blogs that van life would be glamourous. Young people who try van life often quit when their channels dont make enough money.

However, this is not ideal because they could raise your property taxes to a point where you would not be able to pay them, thus lose your land. This very thing happened to me in Louisiana where they raised my property taxes 1,000% in just one year. Now I live off-grid in a motorhome, virtually for free on government land, so pay no property taxes whatsoever. Remember if the government. can tax it, it can take it.

Lived in a school bus turned rv eith my family from Ohio to oregon, down cali and we got to Nicaragua before we sold the bus and came back. Also lived in a converted e350 van with a wood stove and bed for a year
