Love it when you see a player (Benjamin) with so much talent, progress into a play maker. When he was a sophomore, I saw the potential and would get frustrated as a fan at how he wouldn't quite get there. Love it that he was the one to deliver. The first time I saw him on the field, that final catch was what I thought he was capable of doing and so happy for him that he was able to have that moment.

That FSU team that year has 23 future NFL draftees, including 5 first-rounders. Absolutely stacked. And Auburn's team probably put up similar numbers.

As a Noles fan, I don't remember gloating after this game. I was just glad we got by, barely got by. That Seminole team was a very strong team and Auburn played them off their feet toe to toe. head to head and never let up. A break came for us and we got down to the 20 on that last drive and the rest is history. Yet I came away with a very large amount of respect for Auburn.

Auburn played well but a break? You must not watch football games at Doak much… coming from an actual Seminoles alumni
@davidwinter61482 жыл бұрын
@@WaffleHouse247 Auburn played the Noles off their feet most for the game. I've watched so many games in person at Doak I can't count them all.

Auburn was up 21-3 at one point.Auburn always let up and choke. I'm not taking any away from Florida state. Auburn is known for choking and letting off the gas.
@encycl07pedia- Жыл бұрын
@@vilheard3030 Auburn didn't let off the gas. FSU figured out that Auburn knew our offensive plays and fixed that. From then on it was 24-10 FSU.
@vilheard3030 Жыл бұрын
@@encycl07pedia- my opinion, they choked.Gus was a known choker and always lose games he didn't suppose to. Go look at Auburn vs LSU in 2017,Gus always lose when he has a lead. That's been how many years now 8?

the funny thing is the same hero (chris davis) was the one who made the crucial mistake on the pass interference call.so the only thing the sloburn fans can keep talking about is the iron bowl miracle.

I think it's pretty IRONIC that the same player...Chris Davis who was the player responsible for the Auburn win in the 2013 IRON BOWL was the same Auburn player that eventually cost Auburn to loose the 2013 National Championship game. He drew a pass interference penalty on 3rd & 8 with 17 seconds to go and gave FSU 4 more downs. FSU and Winston took advantage of that and beat Auburn on the next play. ROLL TIDE ROLL & GO NOLES
