A video of strat guide on tile taking and map placement would be nice as well. Maybe even techniques like sniping included would be super helpful as well. Plan on sharing ur channel in a discord for ppl to see.

lots of players can conquer high tiles, outfit army and equip BIS. But as far as strategy for what needs to be coordinated and get done to achieve best results I do still struggle with.

The workshop adds half of the value from the tiles surrounding it that are owned by you or your fellowship.

Loved the video. Hope more evil players will see and make that siege lineup as well. Goth is definitely a little tuffer to get bc of R4 but gring and ugthak are must haves. Clearly not enough evil sides know this information because we always struggle to take a crossing. Same goes with clearing the forts like you said. Super excited for my seige army to start to crush. Evils biggest problem is also earning season rewards due to structures occupied lol.

@@209trianglechoke Evil side does have quite a bit of advantages. Starting stats on quite a few commanders. Siege comms. Siege units. Evil has 3 taunt troops. Good only has swans. Evil has way more madness and stun skills.

You are correct. As long as your sauron fast than opponents Gandalf. As I mentioned in one of my videos I don't bring up initiative that much because most smaller players don't have the gear for it. Sauron is faster the gtg already. And more and more people are going away from fast GTWs since saurons deceiver madness no longer fires prebattle.

@ so giving up 30+ initiative for more unit defense is what you reckon? For a low respect Sauron mine is also R1 but I do have at least a handful of gold gear

@@209trianglechoke if someone can throw in a Caul of the forest or berserker raiment that could help with the speed. Or even just use agility gear set. But unless big whale / kracken most people aren't having GTWs with 60+ initiative anymore. There is also a balancing trick on being faster than some commanders but slower than others. With that method you are trying to make better odds for maddening the right enemy commander. If that makes sense.

@ definitely show more love for the evil side as well. Our route to success is very linear, looking for more options for dolphins or even low spenders. also strategic tips to earn more season rewards.

@209trianglechoke That is the plan. During the Role Play seasons I can't access evil side commanders to put skills or gear on them. I am working on some evil while I'm inbetween seasons.

DD = Damage Dealers. Meaning Dain, beorn, Lurtz for example.

running a gtw, falgin, dain and gimli this season. very dissapointing so far. Wonder if gandalf and falgin in the same formation makes sense?

@cubiicubiii I personally think either Gandalf with fallgin doesn't work as well because you're essentially running two white councils. And there is a cap on protection amounts. You also said didn't realize the 3 different dwarf units thing. So that may be causing some of your disappointment as well

My opinion is if dwalin is double the respect level than gimli I'd use dwalin. Example if dwalin is respect 6 or 7 I would use him over a R3 gimli.

Someone had brought up to me when gimli becomes better than dwalin since f2p usually have dwalin higher respect than gimli early on.

Nice Guide! Some things to note with higher respect Boromir: 1 point into High Warden to wear off opponent's White Council or Evade stacks. Equipment sets to try would be the Evasive Action set to allow offset of early damage before Heir kicks in. All around informative guide!

@larry5178 that is one option. Haven't tested but my experience with falgin as a solo tank the healing will do more than the amount of defense from bloodline.

@ I haven’t done a lot of testing either but my theory is adding/bolstering to an already established stat like def/atk is more beneficial because falgin gear is typically def/com/unit stats, whereas you’d have to gear for focus for musician to be effective since it’s one of his weakest stats? Maybe a squad with healers vs a DD squad might change things

@larry5178 I run purple gear on my falgin. Only thing I use is crossbow instead of cutlass. Other testing 10 unit defense was equal to around 1.3-1.7 ish damage reductuction.

Ents would work better in an ideal situation. All forts empty ect. But how often does that really happen. If ents had 3 or 4 moves with full stamina I would advocate for them. But not with 2.
