spent a year in court getting out of a record deal so she could sign another record deal, she was a slow learner wasn't she, no one heard of her after this period of her life, - Ee-I-Adio who can forget that masterpiece

I'll never understand why this incredible artist was never more successful. There really is nobody like her.

I seem to see a bit of defensiveness/irritation from Paula in this interview. A bit like she can see someone talented and gorgeous coming up behind in the fast Lane. It’s a tragedy that Hazel never seemed to make enough headway. I don’t believe the comment about not caring. If she didn’t care then why keep releasing the failed singles? I think Hazel was deprived of the next level because of the litigation. Many artists back in the day took on record companies and won the battle. But, ultimately lost the war. But nothing has changed for Hazel herself. Still talented. Still gorgeous.

Imagine the late Billy mackenzie singing this it would be amazing

This is a butchering of the song. The great lady has not lost it, so no criticism of her. However the removal of the sax solo castrates it. THis has the best sax solo ever and one that adds to the emotional punch of the song, remove that and the song itself losesa strength,
