This game is just amazing! It's perfect for relaxing after work. But I couldn't even launch it because my PC is too weak. I read on a forum that the cloud service boosteroid is currently offering a free one-month trial of PC Game Pass, so now I have a chance to play it

You need to join me in Star Citizen!!
@MrAlbieWanАй бұрын
@@TEQUI1A_SUNRIZE Hi, fella! At this point, it's been quite a few years since I even started up Elite Dangerous! I've just always been concerned with Star Citizens monetisation, especially for a game that still hasn't had a full release. Also, I imagine that starting from scratch at this point would be a massive handicap... On top of all that, these days I just don't know what sort of game I'm going to feel like playing from one moment to the next. This is why I often default back to games like Powerwash, since they're more relaxing 🙂 I enjoyed Starfield when that came out, largely because the gameplay was pretty much what I expected, rather than what people had built it up in their heads to be 😅
@TEQUI1A_SUNRIZEАй бұрын
@ I understand that completely, but you wouldn’t be in a handicap if you were in an org also there is no handicap realistically, besides, if you want to fly one of my ships you could do that. If you’re worried about the game not being released the most you would have to spend is $45 for a starter ship and I don’t think that’s a bad price for a full experience. Plus the way the game is developing there is many opportunities to be a part of a multi-crew ship whether it’s mining, bounty hunting, commodity, trading, pirating, etc. this game is 10 times the game Elite Dangerous ever was 😂.

Thats a real cool beachhead base. Yall gotta put down camp fires. Enemies respawn in a matter of minutes. everytime you see something you just killed respawn, put a campfire there. I hate that Ashlands requires exploiting that "trick" but I could make no progress without suppressing as many spawns as possible. Your camp fires will be broken by the random fires that come from the ground and from falling fire and most mobs. So plan on it being a mostly temporary fix. Fortunately once you get the gear, it is much easier to survive. This biome seems to be the culmination of stamina management techniques learned in the swamp, mountains and mistlands. Speed is your ally. Heavy armor might be a tough build in the ashlands. I went heavy head and chest, eitr pants and asksvin cloak. Many would say i should go all eitr but my character used a sword and round shield the whole game so I maintain it somewhat. I use 2 eitr, 1 stam food. And I try not to get hit with my bubble down. Good luck and thanks for the entertaining episode.

Thanks for the comment! That place is so brutal :D Mr Angel is the resident expert and Valheim addict, who generally sets up the camps. I usually play once a week when we stream together :) I'll pass this across to him, though I have a feeling that, like normal, that base will look quite different when I'm there next :D

@MrAlbieWan4 жыл бұрын
I made a mistake when titling the video... This was mostly on Devil's Thirst. You pick up the key from Liar's Backbone 😉 Both are on the far East of the map, Liar's Backbone is in the Northern region of the volcanic area, and Devil's Thirst is South of Morrow's Peak outpost. You'll need to pick up the story mission from Morrow's Peak, it's on the bar in the tavern 😉

ROPname Skardee is very much INSIDE the bubble, I believe in Imperial space 😉 Well worth a visit, I believe that all of the first three planets are within scooping range of the star. You'll see that I pass either Skardee 2 or 3 on the way in, and again heading out! 🙂 I'd recommend heat sinks though, I just did this to test the equipment to breaking point 😂

ROPname Cheers bud 😉 With this one, it really was going to be just a single take, and whatever happens, happens. 20,000 lightyears of travel for a second attempt says not on the cards 😁 It's not obvious on the video as I would have liked, but that black hole orbits the star very rapidly. I'd hoped to drop out and stay there long enough to do a time lapse video, but temps were going up pretty rapidly! 😋

jay300m04 I'll get working on an updated AspX video, my main profile is back in the Bubble and more heavily engineered ;-)
@nip30047 жыл бұрын
Why asp rather than DBE? i mean I'm just getting into exploration and was looking at one of them but while you brought up the conda the dbe was not even mentioned. Is there something wrong with it? i thought the low heat and higher jump range would be amazing for it
@MrAlbieWan7 жыл бұрын
abb criss The Diamondback Explorer, with patch 2.3, has now also become a very valid option... They have reduced the mass significantly, and having made a DBX since 2.3 myself, I can confirm that you can now get a better jump range out of this than the AspX. Also, you now have an extra class 4 internal slot, so you can equip it a bit better. I think the Aspx still has a slight advantage in the internal compartments, I believe it has a class 5 slot, allowing you a better fuel scoop. Having tried a DBX with a class 4a fuel scoop though, it doesn't add significantly to your exploration time, since the ship is so maneuverable anyway. Currently, the best jump range I've got from an AspX (with engineers, lightweight rated and SRV equipped) is around 47ly - that's with a full 32t fuel tank - compared to around 52ly with a similarly kitted DBX, except with a 16t fuel tank. The Diamondback, BTW, is a much cheaper option, and has a cheaper rebuy (insurance) cost, but I still slightly favour the AspX since it has a second seat, so I can invite friends on board with multicrew if I find something interesting ;-)
@nip30047 жыл бұрын
wow thanks for the quick response on an old video. the multi crew point is the only thing currently having me lean towards the asp i just wish FD gave the co pilot more to do. i mean they can't even lock the next system for a jump :/
@MrAlbieWan7 жыл бұрын
abb criss Yeah, I think that'll come in time, for now it's just about sightseeing ;-) FD are a relatively small team juggling many different things projects, so we'll have to wait and see!
@nip30047 жыл бұрын
yeah and looks like I'm going dbx just rolled a 28% range on a level 3 fsd so im at 51ly lol
@MrAlbieWan7 жыл бұрын
abb criss Nice! Fully kitted (SRV, shields, AFMU, heat sinks, and both discovery scanners), my DBX with grade 5 FSD has a jump range of 52ly on full tanks, or 54ly on empty. Safe travels, take care on those landings! 😁
