Reminds me of an event I witnessed in Greece in the niceties... we were drinking on a balcony overlooking the street and saw these two enormous Scandinavian guys, real brick shithouses, strolling obliviously along, and they slammed into this relatively tiny skinny very drunk Brit... and he decked one of them in one punch then spun unsteadily to the other and shouted at him very like Kaye's character here 'You want some too!?', and this enormous Viking stared in shock down at him, then turned and ran off down the street. Naturally we cheered our countryman, who wandered off grumbling about rudeness.😂

It felt weird without music. Adds an element of realism.. It's almost as if Thoros got killed for realz!!!

@1960gal2 жыл бұрын
I absolutely love Lilyhammer! We were 2 years into mourning the loss of The Sopranos....and chanced upon this. Thought we had to give it a try if only to see what Steve VZ was up to. Oh what a gem! Hysterically funny! Hysterically funny characters! Jan...just his face when he smiles had us creasing up. Paul Kaye, and not to mention Alan Ford turning up was the icing on the cake. Paul was, as we've come to expect, brilliantly funny. And the reference to Millwall in a Nordic/Steven V.Z co-written show was pure Gold!! Watched all seasons twice over. Great stuff 👍

Have u checked out Norsemen or Beforeigners? They give the same vibe:) Same actors same studio I guess

@@nanach6276 awwww, ta for the heads-up. Will defo give those a lookie-see! One title sounds very familiar...🤔 Going off at a tangent. One of my fav 'Nordic Noir'*-type films we chanced upon was 'Headhunters'. Bits were like a very black (or in this case, brown!) comedy in parts!! *We watch that many subtitled stuff, we're already recognising actors!! Gretings from the 🇬🇧
