That's a nice sheath but the only thing I don't like is the Bottom isn't Flat so the Zippo will not Stand Up.

Yes it will, the leather will absorb the vibrations of the metal. It will affect the cling noise.

I bought the pdf and measured the square making sure it was 2 inches all around but it was too small. Might have to change size

You should consider bevel in the edges, knocking the corners down will give a better fit and feel.
