I can not believe that none of the other members of this band are acknowledged. Bill on bass guitar, Jon on drums, and of course, my best friend from Toronto a guy that I saved his life Mr. Jeff Smith on guitar. Jeff has told me many great and strange stories that him and the band went through and did.

This is one of my core memories I vividly remember him getting everybody up the Look on Tommy's face and his comments are genuine

You know what? I saw Toby Rand do this a few minutes ago, and I thought no way could Lukas hold a candle to his performance. How wrong was I? He absolutely killed this song! Sure, Toby had more audience participation, and he was more spontaneous, but that was toward the end of the competition when he was more confirtable, and this, Lukas, was week ONE. I remember being disappointed Lukas won, but maybe he was the right choice. He's got amazing star power and stage presence. Just, wow. I need to rewatch these as an older adult and see if I feel the way I did back then.

I still can't believe be beat Dilana. I mean, he's great, but she was something else.

My Jesus from momories

I was actually at this show and was also at the first show the week before. The first week I thought he was really good and could see how the younger crowd would really enjoy him, but I wasn't over the top. Then I had seen the footage from during the week and he was kind of being a jerk and I didn't really want to like him. He started this song and I was completely sucked in. Loved the vocals and the compelling performance. It was the end of the song before I had even realized I had stepped on to the Lukas bandwagon. Having seen a lot of bands perform in my youth, I'm not easily impressed. You gotta bring it! And he did. He had many other brilliant performances through the series. It was a great show with a lot of very talented singers.

I've watched a hundred of these videos and I'm sorry but why is no one talking about how fuckin hot storm large is??

His vocals bit up and down for me at times, but no denying Lucas has mega star power. I agree with the bandleader, they shouldn’t have tried to mess with it during rehearsals, but it sounds fairly true here.

Whats amazing is this houseband plays something that is closer to the original record than billy idols band does live. The guy on keyboards was in charge and really knew what he was doing.

I can't believe this was 10 years ago. How is that even possible? A bit scary. I could not remember the singer's name or the name of the show, but I remember the performance. Better than the original in my opinion. I am book marking it now. Thank you for posting this.
