I don't know if you have heard of unmasking. It's a huge thing for autistic people like me and Sheldon. Very symbolic that he "unmasked" in front of 200 million plus viewers. And, yes, his voice cracked with emotion.

The story behind the song and video is that when she was younger, a boyfriend of hers was killed in a car accident, prompting a suicide attempt. She was institutionalized after this due to her latent depression and schizophrenia. She is now (like her 7 years later) a huge advocate for mental health care. Many of Stien's songs deal with mental illness and sadness, but usually in a way that gives some hope. The moth tattoo is hers true hers tattoo and it is supposed to be a symbol of hers because moths always chase the light or try to find her even in the dark. So this video shows that story of her fighting with her boyfriend, he goes off and dies in an accident and the light is supposed to represent him, and she's the moth. I think the song is kind of a tribute to him.

The story behind the names is that they are aliens, and when they came to earth they took the form of the first thing they saw: A wolf. So that part of the song they sing to the wolf. And Keith just rhymes with teeth ;) "I really like your teeth... So I will call you Keith" 😁👍 And "Before that wolf eat my grandma, give that wolf a banana" is their solution on the wolf eating the grandma in little red ridinghood. Because when they were on the moon before they came to earth they were thought by their almighty God, Armstrong, that the people on earth was really scared that their grandma would be eaten by wolfs 🙈🤣 This is litterly part of the story they have told in interviews 😁🤣

The song is about these 2 boys 👬 who find it difficult to love, because they are afraid of making mistakes.They face the love of two opposing generations. I find it very beautiful in the way they are different from each other, and in the voice. This diversity is felt in the song. 👨⚕️Mahmood speaks of an Idyllic, Poetic love (I dreamed of flying with you/what s your fear? A deep sea where you con't touch) While 🤷Blanco speaks of a more instinctive part (you dirty my bed with wine/You, who bites my skin/this venom that we spit on each other every day, i dont want it on enymore).These 2 contrasts are elegant and beautiful to see and listen. 💘 (Mahmood 29/30 years Blanco 18/19 years) Google translation

In Nederland as we call it we do not call it plural anymore like in English talking people. Since the countries Belgium and Luxembourg became independant de Nederlanden became Nederland but the English talking still call it lands and not land. Further you keep calling the people of Netherland Dutch which is not accurate as well. In the north of the US there is a community which they call Pensilvanian Dutch. Guess wgich old European language they speak? From which country? Exactly, Germany because Deutch meabs German in the German language, Like many other foreign words the Englisgh talking made it Dutch in strad of Deutch, like Breukelen became Brooklyn, Haarlem became Harlem and van Coevorden became Vancouver. to name a few. So please do not call us German abymore because we are not. We are Netherlandish, Hollandic or Batavarians.

I study at a uni with plenty of (self-proclaimed) Dutchies - yes, exchange students from the Netherlands... People from Germany are called Germans in English! I feel like since I have personal ties to both countries, and having had most of my education in English, you're just... not correct - I'm sorry! Dat het historisch verkeerd is, is niet mijn schuld!
@the113822 жыл бұрын
The word "Dutch" is based on the old word "Diets", which is specifically a word referring to the low countries area. Dutch people come from more than the Batavi Germanic tribe, there were also Franks, Saxons and Frisians. The Batavi were absorbed into the greater whole.

@thijsv67702 жыл бұрын
@@tillylovesholland1161 Yes, you're talking about a german community who chose to name the new region in US after the region where they felt safe for the last time. That's the story behind it: religious refugee farmers (amish) had to flee their native Germany, ended up in the Netherlands for a decade or two, and then moved without exception to US because they'd have more freedom there. In honour of the safety they had enjoyed in Holland, they named the region 'New Holland'.

Everything he does on stage pierces straight through my heart - the vocals, visuals, artistry, styling, theatrics, and darkness. This video tells the story of a throuple with two old gays and a very young malnourished guy who probably betrayed them with a long haired faceless girl. The lack of communication, the regrets and the sense of guilt of this emotionally impaired boy is so vivid when he fights his anger on his bike trying to capture clumps of isotopes in the air and running away, symbolically, from the vagina of a woman who expresses her archaic dimension by offering the owner of the sausage a gloomy den of blackmail and persecution ❤️❤️❤️❤️v

Her every day name is Stien (den Hollander), as her artist name she made S10 out of that, pronounced as S tien (kind of a linguistic joke). That is what I was trying to say before. BTW: I don't know if you intended it that way, but your remark seems a little grumpy. No need for that.
