That PMI ( Professional Marksmanship Instructor) Sergeant That came out last to give an award Should not be a Marine, when I was in if you looked like a Food Blister in your uniform you would have been put on weight control asap for 6 Months. If you did not meet the height and weight requirement you would be administratively discharged from active service for failure to maintain military personal appearance as a Marine and conduct unbecoming of a U.S. Marine for allowing yourself to gain that kind of weight. He has hip’s like a WM and a gut in uniform. He definitely would not have been allowed to be a part of the graduation ceremony period…..he and that chubby Drill Instructor that came stomping out there. That would have been grounds to be relieved of duty as a Drill Instructor and discharged from the corp! We are loosing all of the things that Made the Marine Corp The Few, The Proud……… they look like The Two, The Stout, the Swollen Marine of the Corp. they should be a shame of themselves looking like that in uniform. That is so disrespectful to all who wore that uniform with Pride and upheld the traditions of the Few The Proud The Marine Corp……..but I guess when the General comes out there looking like a food blister you can’t hold them accountable for their actions…..Smh. These kids trained super hard to earn that title and you guy messed up their graduation looking in such manner.

Great job marines but lets give a sec to call out the officers marching it was horrible, that one officer half stepping when the others are half stepping so that he can catch up had me flabbergasted

They all wear dress blues for graduation now. In 1989, I remember wearing the Charlie uniform for graduation.

This reminds me of my own 'Passing out parade' in the Britsh army many years ago. When I see those young faces I am jealous of their youth and of what Lays ahead of them, I would gladly do it with them. When you pass out of training in the British army the band plays the famous British march 'Children of the Regiment' and that's what we were, children...until we got into some action, which was only three months later. God bless all those lads on parade today.
