This is why I’ve been cutting my hair since I was in middle school. I’m 25 years old now and keep doing it. I was traumatized by the hairstylists who doesn’t know how to cut curly hair and say they can bc it’s all hair. 🫠 Personally I think you got are in the right path, but you took her volume and her length away which makes her looks like she lost a lot of hair. But keep learning and practicing. I’m glad people are starting to learn how to properly cut curls 🩷

@@jojojogonzalez2371 I also had my fair share of terrible haircuts as a curly hair girl! I understand it’s very different. She wanted a shorter look and more of a round shape. Her hair was still damp in the after, but once it was completely dry the volume was HUGE! I should send you a photo!

@@leymondsir1955 I cut my guide when my clients come in with their hair naturally curly to avoid cutting too much length when their hair air dries back to their natural curl. So important especially if they want a dramatic face frame! The majority of her haircut was done wet. I have very curly hair naturally, no need to worry!

Took all the volume out. I don't even know how that was possible. And you just dried it while she sat straight up.... just NO. Her hair was so much more beautiful before you got to it. I have had something horrific like this happen to me before , and I haven't been back to see a professional since.
