Hi Mr Wally ! First of all thank you for your support to the digital dentistry ! It's really valuable the experiences that you are sharing. Im having a big problem with the primescan bite scan Intersections (even with the check mark).I started even scanning after getting my 3d printed models to the articulator but I still can't get precise bite registerations without intersections. Here ( In the video sec.31)I can also see that you have some interactions, which causes me occlusal height in my restorations. Do you have any solution for that ?(beside bitefinder etc.) or did you heard about someone getting solution to that ?

So I purchased the aoral elite scanner because I wanted the iPG capabilities but I'm not really impressed with the tissue scan capabilities. Would this be a good solution and alternative to PG? This would allow me to get a trios 5 and not have to get a true PG which are crazy expensive.

yea exactly. It’s what Trios users should get.

Hi Wally, where I can find info about 79% of ceramic? It’s 79% in condesable IPS Empress Direct, not flowable IPS Empress Direct Effect. The last one filled by ceramic on 49-67%

Do you still need Truabutment io connect if you have this intraoral PG? I was debating between this vs Trios + IO Connect but after seeing this review, I'm leaning towards shining.

Are 3d printed veneers stronger than e-max?
@wallyrenne6 күн бұрын
No. They aren’t stronger but they are more tough. Do they need to be steonger? I can print 10 veneers in 15 minutes. They are more efficient. Also they can be printed 200 microns thick. Emax chips when that thin in the mill, so you would have to press it.

If bonding to enamel as in a Maryland Bridge, how do you treat the enamel? If cementing to dentin as in an inlay, how do you treat the dentin?
@wallyrenne5 күн бұрын
Like you would if bonding composite. Etch enamel, adhesive, air thin, cure. Dentin- selective etch enamel- universal adhesive- air thin and cure

Not much flexibility. I use ONX tough if monolithic. I also made a split file tutorial. I use retainer by sprintray for that and it works better

Hey doc! 1) great work! 2) what code are you charging for these patients? Is it still considered a composite restoration or same code as indirect onlay? 3) From start to finish (prep, design, mill, insertion, radiograph) how long on average would you say you are scheduling out for a restoration? Obviously I know this varies patient to patient
@wallyrenne13 күн бұрын
We schedule 2hrs a quadrant. We charge for an indirect ceramic onlay if it covers a cusp. For inlays we change direct resin fee.
@Hubiro14 күн бұрын
was doing pretty much the same thing last week for the first time. worked perfectly. Small difference: here in germany we‘re not allowed to make such small dentures as the risk of aspiration is pretty high. we need to have clamps accross the palatinum (Q1 to Q2 f.e.)

could you have pre-printed shell temps for this case and relined with bis-acryl or will this option be as good if not better?

Shell temps that are relined are half as good in my opinion. Seating shells is difficult. Getting reline to stick is difficult. Then have to trim.
