Yes, spurs is a farce of club - 20 years of failure and 15 managers under Levy

The problem with the whole Ange no plan B discourse is that its simply not true. His second title at Celtic was ground out with a focus on defence and getting over the line...he abandoned attack at all costs and won most of the second half of the seasons matches by eeking out results. The difference with Tottenham is he knows he doesn't have the quality to win in that manner and Tottenham will finish mid table regardless. He showed in his first few months at Spurs that he could dominate the Premier League but he his team (with the players he had) wore themselves out and unlike Man City or Liverpool he just didn't have the quality on the bench to mix it up...look at the team now...he's starting youth team players.

Mourinho is a great manager , the only one who has been fit to take on fergies job.they should of got him in years earlier, with the rubbish he had to work with he did well. Jury out on Amorim but on paper he doesn’t look like a great fit, he wouldn’t appear to particularly want any of current squad and there’s no money to spend plus a load of players they will struggle to get rid of. Should of tried to get a safe pair of hands in to navigate their way through getting rid of the current squad and bringing on United youth players

What an analysis. While I agree that Amirom remains the wrong choice for Man United, I think LVG was better because he introduced young players and didn’t spend much in big players. If he had been allowed to finish his contract, he would have been able to build a team
@visualfootball18 күн бұрын
That's an interesting take. I had been disappointed with LVG at Utd, but considering what has happened since then, maybe the rot at the club was too great. His hands might have been tied.

A bit disrespectful Video I think... So Sporting its not a big club? Ajax is not a big club? 😂 Ruben Amorim would take his Sporting team and beat this Man United 5-0 any day of the weak. The problem are not the managers, its the players, 1 billion in bad investments and they want Champions Leagues !? Please........😂😂😂

Come on! There's like 6 competitive matches in the Eredivisie and Liga per season. You can't compare this to having to fight Fulham, Bournemouth, Brighton, and Brentford for points each week.

What a poor assessment of an upcoming coming manager. He hasn’t got European experience? Pretty sure sporting played in europa and champions league last few seasons and beat the likes of Arsenal and city. He just needs signing to implement his own style of football. Everyone thought Slot was gonna fail badly but look at them. If you have a settled team with strong core, any half decent manager will be successful
@visualfootball20 күн бұрын
He hasn't managed a big club in Europe. Man Utd need a different type of manager to Liverpool. Half-decent is not going to cut it, need a strong manager who can rebuild.
@ashash217220 күн бұрын
@ who’s out there that has managed a big club in Europe? Simone perhaps? Doubt he his communication would be as good as Amorim. He needs to be given a fair chance to build. Man Utd’s biggest mistakes were going after so called world class players and managers who were past it. If we can build the core of the team, any manager can come in and do a job. Look at Bayern Munich, anyone comes in does half decent job. Kompany not necessarily top manager yet is he?
@visualfootball20 күн бұрын
Can you imagine Simone at Utd! He would have a massive clearout. The standards would jump overnight. The overpaid average players would be out immediately. Like to see Ratcliffe or Glazers tell him how to do his job.

Now, a month later, Amorim is allready mizerably failing, and failing even more for each mach. In the interim period when Nistelrooy was allowed to manage, the team played well. Under Amorim, before he had taken the full grip of the team, the team performed mediocrely. And now, when Amorim is in full charge the team performs mizerably. The sturdier this man manages, the poorer is the results. He is managing the team towards the abyss, if not dismissed in time. I think the best thing the owners can do now, is bringing back Nistelrooy for a long interim period , that possibly can stabilize the situation, and he possibly also can be the right permanent manager.

You clearly can’t see the bigger picture
@knutholt348619 күн бұрын
@user-np9ct8sl4j I know what this bigger picture is supposed to be: 3-4-3 formation combined with a somewhat complicatedand rigid choreagraphy plus a lot of new players. First of all, I do not think his choreography will winn in a league where thinking and intelligent decisions during play is necessary for winning. Then the way he manages the team and enforce dissiplin is counterproductive against getting any result at all, or building anything at all, except perhaps in a more autoritrarian culture like that of Portugal. What I see in the maches is a bunch of tired, confused and nervous players that are scared of taking any decisions at all, and lack dissiplin out of nervousness, confusion and tiredness. Furthermore, the state of the club that Amorim is degradeing even more makes it very difficult to find any other team that will buy any of their players, and players that want to play in MU undr Amorim, at least not top players. Then you have the egocentric mentality of this manager. A close listening to his speach shows that he alone is allowed to be the star of the team, while the players shall not excell in other ways than by effectively doing his role in the choreography.
