This is such a blast from the past, I was in this group of girls and I've been telling my Evironmental Studies professors about this so it so cool to find a video from that week! I'm the blonde in the yellow/pink hat!!

Thanks for sharing! My dad is a Catawba alum and I grew up listening to a record of the Catawba choir at Christmas. Your choir performed at our church a few years ago and it was wonderful. So glad to find this again this year!

My daughter is there today for new students intro! 😊 She and I are so excited for her to be attending Catawba as a freshman for the 2019-2020 school year. She's already said it feels like home and has only been there a couple hours! I love the ratio of teacher:students. This is great for more one on one attention and learning so no one gets lost or left behind. I'm so so excited for my daughter to have been chosen by Catawba!! Go Courtney!! I can't wait to see this chapter of her life be a dream come true for her!!

Glad to see this program grow so quickly. Developing this program was a large part of my senior project and was a great opportunity when I was there. It has helped develop so many students to their fullest potential in all aspects of the music and entertainment industry. I am looking forward to what this program has in store for it in the future and the talented minds that will emerge from it. The students in this program are what make it grow and make it out shine the competition. Keep rocking on catawbaChristopher Lunetta '12The 1st ADP General manager 2010-2012

The composer of this anthem remains anonymous (according to all web searches that I've done.) It is a Theodore Presser publication, #312-40056, SATB. The editor is George Lynn, who, for many years, was the premiere choral conductor for Westminster Choir College, achieving a dark, velvety quality from his ensembles. He and the WCG students were the choir/chorus of choice on many recordings of the 40s, 50s and 60s. Personally, I find the Catawba performance on the strident side-almost shouting.

Hey, John. It's Carol (Feezor) Hendrix from Salisbury in the sixties, only now I'm Carol Hendrix from Ronaoke Virginia in the twenty first century. It's good to know you're still rocking. I've been married to the same guy for going on forty two years. We're retired grandparets but still roak and roll. Rock on!!!
