Not sure how this is relevant. First of all, I bottomed out over a crest, causing the weird movement. Secondly, I tune my vehicles so that they have a decent amount of snap to them, makes them predictable to control for my standards. Thirdly, I only keep my FPS at 60, that is fine enough. Lastly, the 'recorder' is a separate program from the game itself and does not affect my framerate in games.

@@SECONDQUEST it's under Graphics settings> Anti-Aliasing. Elite's AA implementation is god awful so if you really want the jagged edges to disappear you also need to do atleast 1.5x Supersampling (the option below AA in settings). Edit: Altho that does take a toll on your FPS, not necessarily cos your GPU is weak, but that engine is just iffy like that

I can cover much more distance than with a dedicated exploration ship and screenshot coordinates for tough to find samples (such as osseus and fungoidia) In addition, the SLF's aim doesn't wiggle wobble like a ship's so I can more quickly confirm species on a planet with the comp scanner.

@@daddylocs6253 the Castanas had to be modded to be slightly usable. The new damage change makes them normally usable until you get to level 30, even while modded

@ZephytheDragon I got a sancti castanas build that kills steel path pretty easily, lvl 14 enemies really aren't applicable here.

@@daddylocs6253 well yes, but these are the basic bitch Castanas. Faction weapons are almost always better than their base versions (like the vaykor hek having double mag size for starters)

@@Localnimation while the AI does have it's.... quirks, this is actually the preferred way to get to a surface combat zone. Entering them this way allows you to respawn at the CZ without losing combat bonds.

Once my apex pilot crushed into the star. It was a T or L type star he tried to near pass the star but didn't calculate the zone correctly and hit the exclusion zone, after FSD cooldown we jumped the other system.

Too bad they wouldn't actually pull us into it cause of it's gravity well if we sat idling above it like that. Cause tbh black holes are kinda underwhelming in Elite. I mean Neutrons and White Dwarfs are unique in the fact that they can kill you. I mean yeah any star can kill you if you fly into it, but you think Black Holes would do what they're supposed to do ya know? That reminds me I once flew into a black hole going like over 800c in supercruise, jump scared the hell out of me, but if it didn't have that emergency stop, like I'd probably would've just sent myself into oblivion. Then again I'm going faster than light so who knows. Come to think of it I wonder what would happen if it was possible to enter a black hole faster than the speed of light?
