When you drag something that heavy, you need to back up and give a big jerk, your log would pull better and less to struggle with.

I would use a map gas torch on the nut break that loos and a breaker bar for more leverage.

Funny I have a stainless steel ball that the giant nut unscrewed all the way off on a 150 mile trip and the trailer popped off saved by the tow chains. I wish it has rusted on :)

@@xhumeka Yea and it had the giant lock washer too. Stainless just too slippery I guess. Should have added blue locktite to the threads. Never had that happen in 40 years of boating.

How much would you want for it if you sell it like that year of Suzuki quad runner 😮
@dansclassicsandcustoms2 ай бұрын
I have a carry-boose, but it looks a bit different. The hitch bars mount lower and towards the middle of the sides more... also, the skis/runners are more centered under the unit, not so close to the edges. Any idea what years they were made or where to find pictures/info?

Always grease your threads or use never-seize.
@DwightStJohn-w1l5 ай бұрын
Transport wise often you'll find the nut with a large large SPOT WELD to keep the ball ON. Wax marine grease, a little, and if you have added a sliding bar every year take it out, put it back with the pin, inspect the pin and cotter key. Never seize should only be used by those in preventative maintenance and scheduled inspection. Don't rely on it, as it will loosen. Not advised for most two applicaitions. The unit right NOW i'd playing with the truck has other trailers to pull tomorrow. Favour for a close friend under deadlines.

Nice tractor that seems to start with a crank, without a battery. At the front there would be a place to install a hitch ball, very practical for maneuvering a trailer with unrivaled precision. We also sold our Ford 3000 tractor, Honda Foreman-type utility ATVs effectively replace bulky tractors in the forest.
@xhumeka Жыл бұрын
Cheers mate. It's hard to see, but there's definitely a battery in there... 1200 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) at that! Not sure my arm would be up for hand-cranking at that power ;)
