Did you find the manual seats could go lower than electric. I just picked up a manual sport seat from the junk yard to put in my 330ci because My head is on the roof when I wear a helmet in my electric seats. Heard the manuals get you about an inch more headroom.

You can still use the CD tray in the dash, but you will lose functionality of the 6 CD changer in the trunk as that is what this plugs into.

Wish this was alowed in my country, they simply wont let you change the engine unless its proper dead, and even then it can only be the same model e30 engine back in😢

What is done with the electric harness now that you have manual seats?

You don’t have to make any adjustment to the harness when going from power seats to manual ones. The power and ground wires that are used to move the seat now connect to nothing :)

You can’t translate the DIY here with Recaros. Recaro’s need special brackets to bolt to the chassis, to accept the stock seat belt, and it’s own wiring harness to keep the seat belt system wired to the car for safety reasons.

hey, i tried the solution of building an oil pan and destroyed two N54 engines due to oil starvation with the front oil pan. So everyone trying that I suggest to do as he has done, change the front subframe.

You say to have a spare DME, how do you get passed the immobilizer lockout??

You will delete the immobilizer when you do this, so you might as well do the bypass on a DME not paired with your key

There’s not much you need to do. I’d recommend turning a used rack left and right a few times manually to get rid of old fluid, but no other prep needs to be done

I want to do an oil baffle and just tie an oil pump nut. For me, that would be sufficient. However, if my long term plans become mort short term, I wouldn’t have to make these modifications 👀

Hey I like your video to explain things very well and over some of the other ones on the blue bus but one question I've never had answered is is there any more pros to the blue bus when using it versus the business radio and the navigation radio do you get more options because it's navigation and less options because there's no display on the business radio? Like for tire pressure sensor

The blue bus is in conjunction to the business radio. It allows you to connect you phone via bluetooth with modern integration and HD quality audio streaming. The developer just added other simple fun tricks like auto lock and triple blink
