Heavenly tones indeed. The grain of the distortion is round and perfect. I think the 30 is on my must acquire list now!

An effects loop for your effects loop. No thanks
@adamalexanderray21 күн бұрын
You know what would be better? Just like an attenuator a device that sits between the speaker output and the cab/load that lets you insert effects post power amp. You can then add an effects loop to any amp without one. I manage do this sometime in a roundabout way. I take my Orange Tiny Terror and plug it into my Two Notes Captor with no cab attached. Run the amp at its sweet spot with usual pedals in front of the amp. Then the line level out of the captor goes through my time based effects and into the FX return on my Orange CR120 head which is connected to a 212 cab. You get the preamp and power amp tone from the Tube head but the clean power amp headroom of the solid state amp, all while inserting time based effects to an amp that doesn’t come with an effects loop.

Well, usually a good fx-loop should do all the things, this pedal offers in my opinion. What had been more interesting for me, would have been a solution, which adds an fx-loop to an amp without one without any modding, drilling and soldering... Pretty expensive too for just another "improvement" tool too.
@LukeGeis-ww4ru22 күн бұрын
Let's spend $600 more dollars on a $4000+ amp to " Improve " the effects loop. I'm not a fan of Two-Rock for a multitude of reasons; this certainly adds another. A device like this should cost about what a mid tier pedal does ( $300 or so ). It's a buffer, and nothing else.
@wootks22 күн бұрын
Agree, I don't see how this is any better than just running a $49 boss pedal (that has a always on-buffer) off in the loop.

Definitely sounds fatter in the loop with the ELI! Need one for my TS1...Cheers

A tad more treble and gain on the Traditional Clean and you would hear how amazing that amp is.. Flat eq does not do justice at all to it.

It also sounds great with less ridiculously expensive guitars

This is how a "comparison" should be done. Same guitar, same lick, back to back. No BS. Well done guys! Wish there is more comparison video done in this fashion!

I wish the Synergy SLO II sounded even half as good as the SLO 100. Unfortunately, the crunch setting is uninspiring, and the overdrive setting is a muddy, toneless mess. Absolute garbage module. The original, stripped down SLO module is apparently much better than that shitty attempt at boiling down the SLO into a module. The Synergy SLO II sounds more like the worst Mesa Recto you've ever heard.

Worth commenting that this very video mainly sold me on a Carr Sportsman a few years ago, as i couldn't try one anywhere near me. My favourite ever amp!

Why is the only demo of this thing that sounds this good? Does the galaxy have a pre amp to make it that distorted or are you using a pedal?
@AuntAlnico4Ай бұрын
$2509 plus tax is pretty high price But if the effects are any good it should help justify it.

I saw one of these on a amp tech video & it was pure junk. It had some name brand stuff on the inside, but was mounted on a cheap chassis, with horrible connections & stuff wired backwards. Pots that were a mish mash of different sizes, it was really a disaster. I would stay far, far away from any of their amps.

Great demo. I am having a heck of a time deciding between a Fillmore 25, a Cali Tweed 2:20 or a Transatlantic TA-30 combo my local shop has had too long and just discounted big-time.

The cabinets are beautiful. I’ve always heard about how rugged and sturdy carbon fiber is. How about the cabinets? I worry that they might get banged up during gigging bumps and bruises. Can you say anything about the durability of its good looks and possibly repair for external damage?
@Sam_Sparks1442 ай бұрын
Sounded amazing 💯😎 The clean channels sound very very similar on my phone. I’m sure you could probably hear a little more of a difference sitting in front of the speaker cabinets. I think if you are trying to choose which one to buy you would need to go play both amps and go through all the different settings on both amps and see which one works for you as a player the best.

This demo really shows the range of this amp. From Kaki King Fender-ish clean fingerpicking, to Ratt, to Sound Garden, etc. Thats's a wide range of territory to cover pretty much any gig. Most amps are good at one thing and mediocre at the other. This one has a killer clean, and mid gain and high gain. Which is why I bought one. : )

Something to consider is the resale value of a new name or boutique amp. A Fender amp will almost always return more $$$ at resale.

Peter would never do anything half azzed, but being so far from Diezel Headquarters, I just never could get past the digital part in case something crapped out. Which could never happen or happen a long time from now. Even knowing this, it made me stick with my vh4. I really wish my vh4 had all the onboard fx. I might get one anyway, eventually.
