Are you travelling together as the hoist obviously needs a person to operate it.

My daugher uses a wheelchair. The 2006 to 2010 Rav body style had just enough room to allow me to fit it into the hatch without any folding, etc. This is very convenient. Bad news is after 2010 all Ravs are sligltly tighter. I have to move up to a Highlander or similar vehicle. She owns a Mazda 5 with a driverside sliding door for her works wonderfully. For many handicapped people as vehicles are remodeled they end up having to find and chose a model appropriate to their unique needs.
