I did it on september on twitter and i was thinking on that a weeks ago but not sure how far are everydeck that's not nought and the meta is less different so is difficult to not play against same decks every time.

Believe isn't clear on the video i was 10 times on finals (without winning, 2nd place) and another 10 that i won, is true have been and incredible year in terms of performance.

Genuinely curious: why Tide? It seems pretty fair to me and I don’t think banning it would have a positive effect on the format but instead hamstring certain decks that keep the format balanced. But I’m also new so 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@kovalaMostly I think the play patterns of one sided Armageddons are not fun or heathy. StifleNought and Replenish are probably the two best decks in the format (both combo decks) and Tide let’s them dunk on Control and MidRange. The RW player in the second match never had a chance against Tide, it permanently exiled 10 of his lands in the second game. What decks do you think Tide keeps in check?

@ thanks for your thoughts! still learning the format, but it seemed to me that it helps with midrange matchups like Rock/RecSur where they can just grind you out with value. I guess same goes for Terra Ponza, where a resolved Tide can help close the door. I do think Tide is strong but personally Im not hoping for a ban (I’ll admit some bias as I think the card is super neat and premodern is really the only format it’s played in).

My meta is full of gob and burn, tide is terrible in my meta

IMHO the deck is really strong but beatable.

@@joehenderson1 No deck is unbeatable for sure, but I'm curious what decks you have experience into it that are favorable? Many of the ones I had assumed did well in theory have struggled in practice. Of course you can take games, no deck is that tier 0, but certainly it feels very very powerful to the point I'm not sure what the answer is anymore. Classically I would of said GB is a natural predator but I've still found negative match records for the most part.

@@3o7Mian i have found playing vs 5c white weenie to be very tough and the elves matchup to be close to unwinnable. haven't played vs pit rack but i imagine it wouldn't be a cakewalk either

Actually , survival had the first game but misplayed. He had all conditions to empty Paul's hand with Sadistic Hypnotist before using the Nantuko (sacrificing birds and hypnotist itself and still having mana for Nantuko during upkeep)

@@joehenderson1 every deck is beatable what does that even mean. I just saw a zoo win vs dread with only 7 sideboard cards to it, crumble, naturalize and elemental blast.

@@micheleb.00 No i don't that's my problem, sometimes i face matches as if i was playing control when i shouldn't do that.

Not sure, this was a testing, but believe you can have at least 1 in your 60, if you control decree, games probably take longer so don't seem a bad plan.

Was testing, probably sb tide is better than this, but i would have played at least one freeze in addition to tide.

I'm still not sure, trying both, but against some decks like bw or enchantress tide is better than freeze, ill probably play both.

Yes, is pretty strange see that kind of card in premodern but i lose once to an unexpected reverent mantra.

This deck don't beat sligh, you're only options is you opp draws more creatures than bolts that you can handle, discard him vortex and get enough time to play a corrupt.

Not's incredible but probably better than the cards i side out.

First hand was slow and needed my opp don't play wasteland and drawing a land to have a little possibility.

Yep, i played before crypt to see what was in top but didn't realize there were less than 20 cards remaining after that... was a missplay
