1974 imperforate anus cloaca survivor. Unfortunately 3 years after surgery my mom medically neglected me. So my issues are different. Back then they took my fertility because of archaic technology of the time. I feel fortunate to have survived this long.

If you are ok with being muscular, grow your chest muscles and shoulders. It makes it look more proportional and stand out much less. And don't worry about it too much, I promise no one cares or notices as much as you do. That's just how we are as humans.

I had a recurrence of my pectus excavatum. I had a mesh put in place because i was scared at the time to have the bars placed inside of me. This happened at around 2014, 2015 when i was around 15 years old. I am now 24 years old and have been looking into having another surgery but I dont know who to talk to. My primary doctor doesn't help me because my health insurance is from the government. Government health insurance sucks. There is no priority for patients. My pectus excavatum has also been getting worse over the years and I have been living with discomfort, pressure, and pain ever since along with the chest continually sinking down. It has sunken down enough past the middle rib cage and I can see/feel the edge of the cage bone bumps on my skin. I don't know what to do.

Have you tried surgery in Turkey? I can recommend you a public hospital. I had the same surgery a few years ago and my illness went smoothly, and they removed the bar from my chest. You can contact health tourism companies in Turkey from foreign countries and have surgery performed by chest professor Tahir Ş Eren at Göztepe Süleyman Yalçın City Hospital in Turkey.
I didn't even know I had pectus until the bullying started.

My nerves are always constantly over fire another reason why I can't really be out in the sun that long. When your body and mind don't want to cooperating with each other that is very difficult anyone in Hollywood anywhere wherever the music industry I would never put on anything strong enough because of all the misunderstanding in the wrong information and everything else I have to keep reminding so for the ones that are like that why can't you let us be happy without pain. Damage done to my spine and tailbone whether that from birth or through out my life. The pain is so excruciating internally from the inside out etc. I'm glad you guy's understand. I can't help it if I have to communicate with people different communicating various different way's, words for understanding. Doesn't have anything to do with being difficult everything to do with understanding situations left in with nothing. Avett, don't know why other things in through my Google keyboard I'm not saying in my microphone. I was always told to take care of myself by myself. Doctors and nurses do not have to leave my account not any attorney does not have to leave my account or medical profession. Not to mention Shingles fibromyalgia which ever you want call it. Chanute Kansas, Kansas.gov Wal-Mart Iola Kansas Wal-Mart. That's another reason why I'm a Loner. Amnesia yes. Why do they do that too People like me kick off of Medicare to have to reapply and everything like that. Wow, making the excess sweating stop within 2 days was so much more than I expected, I went with what I talked about last week and after the first day or so I was very surprised to start feeling much more comfortable and dry! I went ahead and go'ogled the latest by Cynthia Yulesin and after 72 hours I now sweat like a “normal” person lol

Hey man, it’s been a minute since you posted this comment but I thought I would go ahead and answer it for you. I actually did the surgery exactly 1 months ago and I’m not going to lie, it’s a pretty painful operation. Even after 1 month it still hurts, but it’s significantly better. I was informed by my surgeon that it takes 3 months before I am fully recovered. Hopefully this was helpful. Take care

You should absolutely not flush the extension tubing with water while connected to your infant.
@angiehh516 Жыл бұрын
She flushed with water to push through the med that was left in the line. Sometimes the patient needs the extra water for hydration too so it shouldn’t hurt to flush water unless you’re on a fluid restriction. The formula is often thick and some extra water is necessary. Looks like when she removed it she fully washed it out in warm water in the sink. We flush regular adult PEGs with water all the time and in between each med to keep the line patent and to prevent the meds from reacting with one another or formula.
@RhondaJoe-s1e3 ай бұрын
Yes, she absolutely should. There are meds left in that tubing, also after a feed if you don't flush it, the tube can clog. Why do you say this?

Pretty I have read that it's about 1in 500-600. I have also been very self-conscious about mine (big chest makes my moderate sunken chest look deeper) since junior high and I am 55 now and even though I have lifted since 16 and am into fitness, it still weighs so heavy on my daily thoughts. People can't even imagine.

@@J.D.Whiteye mine was in, the post op pain is hectic but alot of that is also in your head and wanting to get back to normal immediately after surgery, don't let your age stop you, only reason it took me this long is because of idiot GPs telling me it's just "cosmetic" , I suggest bypassing GPs and make an appointment with a thoracic surgeon in your area who has experience with the nuss procedure, they will guide you and won't just brush you off, I actually watched a video today of a surgeon talking about a 57 year old who had it done, don't wait till you're that old man, I know what it's done to your life if it's anything as deep as mine was , the rules have changed now, medical insurance can't decline you if your indent is deeper than a certain amount and your surgeon writes a good motivation

this never happened when I was born in 1980, they pushed my insides back in and wrapped me in glad wrap, my first op was really bad, then i had other ops through my life to fix it, it seems my insides were just sent to the place they meant to go but i had skin and cysts growing all through my insides, i have really bad adhesions also that prevent i learned from having keyhole and i always have to look out for obstructions.
