@@lorisaxman4951 we had several carpenters make our doors and all the wood cabinets, shelving, etc. I think the carpenter we used for Sanka's Casita is located near the AutoZone.

I had no idea this existed. I miss my pup so much when I travel - I have gone to shelters to walk dogs while traveling and that helps a bit, but to be able to care for one and have a great place to stay would be perfect! You guys need to get referral codes from these companies!

Hola Matt! Yo tenía el mismo problema hasta que decidí abrir una cuenta de banco en pesos. Así me ahorro el mal sabor de que me cobren de más. Y me di cuenta que los bancos en México ofrecen más intereses en inversión porque ya tienen competencia del Banco del Bienestar. Saludos

There’s always a damn learning curve. We use the bank 🏧 and avoid your mentioned overcharges. Then we pay cash for everything. If I remember the 15th and 30th of each month are very busy at the banks. Those may be paydays? There is more security those days,I’m not sure if that is good or bad. I usually do banking late morning in broad daylight.

@@kerryfromaj9032 Salary workers may be paid on 15th & 30th, not sure. But the hourly and daily workers get paid on Saturday's. It's definitely a cash economy.

Great video short, sweet and accurate. You have to be a resident in Mexico and application will ask your resident address in Mexico but they will only return it to the DHL office. At least that is how its done in Yucatan

@@enchiladasmith014 I'm a Mexican resident, I live here year round, own several properties and a business here, have adopted a half dozen animals from here, we've helped care for hundreds of other street animals here, assisted two local low income families build homes by donating money and labor, and all our friends live here. So why is it ignorant to not want to make the place I live and love better? Do you not care about where you live and your community?

We love ZIhua just not in June July and Aug...its too hot. We visit in Feb and March but Nov and Dec are wonderful too. Love all the improvements they have made on and off centro. You spoke about safety and i would agree that it is very safe all day long everywhere.

We love Zihuatenajo and love getting out of the Iowa winter. Great bands every night at Baracruda's. Great hotel right downtown Zihuatenajo.
