After World War One the great lie that was told to the German people was that they were never defeated. They were betrayed by socialists and Jews who just gave up. This was not only the Nazi line, but also the army's and non-Nazi conservative leadership's line. Since no World War One battle was actually fought in Germany, and after the German population had food again, it was an easy lie to sell. "See. No distruction. How could we have lost?" But after World War II there was NO doubt that they lost. Their cities were destroyed, their army's crushed. No doubt now, and the air war was a huge part of the reason. Bombing by the allies is often referred to as a war crime, and thus they were no better than the German's or Japanese. The fundamental difference was that the Allies stopped their "war crimes" once the enemy was defeated. The German's and Japanese only STARTED their war crimes after victory and on a helpless population.

I would like to correct the speaker. RAF Bomber Command did not fly in formation to the target. Each aircraft took off and found its own way to the target joining a bomber stream and then went solo bombing run channelling onto the target with a never ending one minute steady run to allow for the photo flash. The speaker mentioned fighter escort, there weren’t any in that sense used with Bomber Command.

Did Cornel release his plans for his back taxes he owes and his back child support he owes his child. As a candidate for president he should stop getting married--he was married 5 times and it's time to stop it!

Desert Shield had B52 bombers, 8th Air Force. They flew from RAF Fairford. The night of the first combat mission, Colonel Conlan, sent a message to 8th Air Force Command, that once again, we were flying combat bomber missions from a base in England. 1945 to 1991.

42:22: At this part in the video was some of the most powerful info. It's why you don't ever stop if you're winning. You don't ease up until it is beyond won. Beyond. The enemy will turn back on you in a heartbeat if you leave them any degree of their leadership.
