On the switch & press convection mode 2 times, set the time 10 minutes for preheating. Again press the convection mode and set the time 40 minutes. You have any doubts ple search my cake video.

Also, your narration of the lady who prepared the breakfast in the hostel, referring to her with respect callinf her "Aunty", made me realize how we lose our values when we settle in a Western country. We in India refer to everyone with a name or title but here no one even makes an attempt to learn a name or be respectful to elders or relatives. India is a unique country.
