Please could anyone explain to me the difference between credit and non credit? And I am already an undergrad currently working so would this help me

I intend to enrol in HBS for the Core programme, . I must comprehend how exams are administered. I'm not sure if the exam will be given in the HBS centre or if we'll have to take it there. Please advise me

Thanks for the tips! I'm considering enrolling, but deciding between credit or non-credit. I would like to use this course to show my readiness to MBA programs (and refresh concepts for myself), but the credits would be for undergraduate study, so I'm thinking of going non-credit. Which one do you recommend? Are there any practical differences between the two options during the course (e.g. during assessments or the final exam)? And also, the extras that the credit option provides (Harvard email, access to online library, etc) all expire when you finish the course, you don't get access to the wider alumni network after, right?

How are the exams? multiple choice or do they make video calls? Thanks :D

Hi Jessica - pity I only found your video at the end of the course... a lot of great tips! I still have to take the exam though and I wanted to ask some more details about it - I understand this is a 3 hours exam with 45 questions per each course, so pretty much 1 question per minute or so - so very fast pace. What I'd like to know is whether the 3 hours are split so if you start with say FA will it stop after 60 minutes regardless of how many questions you have answered or will the closk continue ticking so basically using up time you need for the other courses questions? And also, does the exam include spreadsheet questions or is it only multiple choice questions?

Congratulations, Jess! 🎉 Super exciting news. I couldn't help but ask myself the same question ⁉️ Is fear and excitement equally the same for the brain? So I did a bit of research 😃 Apparently, the body response to danger is to produce shit ton of adrenaline which in turn promotes the release of cortisol. It helps the body to use "all" the resources and avoid threats. The feeling is having rapid heart rate, fingers shake, sweaty palms and all those unpleasant feelings that alert our bodies that something is wrong. When we are excited, the nerves and adrenal glands produce noradrenaline which allows the body to react quickly to unexpected stimulation. They are very similar feelings to the ones we get when we are scared mostly because of the unknowns we can unlock to make our brain stop reacting to it as if it's the same. Soooo I hope this was helpful but being scared and excited is both GOOD in your situation 💜 Einstein once said "A ship is always safe at the shore, but that's not what it is build form".
