Without a doubt the most talented musician I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. I bought "music for ppl", in a tiny pawnshop for 99 cents. Right outside Seattle back in 2003. I've since bought it 4 times. Anything he does is gonna sell because everything he writes/plays makes u feel.

Those record labels really lost out on such a visionary band, a timeless band, a really down to earth band. Jon had a certain vision and distinguishable sound that he wanted his band to have and the record labels of course didn't like that. They wanted something that was deemed "profitable". They had no idea the treasure they had with this band if they just marketed them honestly, took a chance with them, and really worked to get them out onto the scene. All of VASTs fans see they had the potential to be well-known and not even having to sell out. I truly respect Jon for sticking to his principles no matter what. No matter what the naysayers spat out and not letting the whispers of fame and fortune entice him to bend the knee and change. Due to all of this I view them as not just severely underrated, but unique, rare, & beautiful. I knew from the one day I was sitting by the radio and I heard "Free" come on that this is a band I'm sitting with. I'm ever so grateful for that day. Forever have love for VAST & Jon Crosby <3

This is the most I’ve heard him say “uh” or “um” in an interview. He did an interview with a Canadian radio show and I think I only heard him say “uh” once in an hour. Q is the radio show in case you’re interested. It was the CBC. However the interviewer got into a spot of trouble and he was nuked from the show so it’s nearly impossible to find now.

If I mean this by playing this rad song, it's philosophically not legally as I've thoroughly established through law firms and my own testimony and points in legal courts. But we're all guilty destroying one another. Dehumanization begets dehumanization. I was born into a system of dehumanization, learned these lessons of oppressive, even violent dehumanization in defense of my own human and property rights, etc., but then sought to unlearn them with significant but not yet total success. Great song.
