Hey! Any idea why my Thermoplan4c won’t deposit any milk? It keeps happening :( Can’t find anything online and already called the service guy, worked for a while keeps breaking on and off??

It could be a few causes for that, Starting from the outlet nozzle, blocked milk coil, The lever valve from the milk outlet tube, Faulty milk pump. Blocked milk outlet tube.

It would be interesting to find out what them electrodes are made from, in electrolysis anodes have to be made from very inert materials such as platinum/platinum coated titanium, MMO or graphite(they obviously don't look like graphite), common metals would corrode under harsh oxidising conditions at the anode, stainless steel can be used for the cathodes but will only work as an anode under strongly alkaline solutions such as in a HHO cell.

You can salvage the VRB from a phone lithium battery by carefully removing any orange insulation tape for the VRB to be exposed, & if you feel brave, snip the two points where the cell is soldered, then for a bit of fun, take the cell outside & stab it a few times with an insulated pointy thing, then watch the fire works from a distance. What I do with repurposed lithium cells, I build a battery contact spring caddy to spring load cells rather than the more dangerous method of soldering directly to the cell.

I fitted 10 of those in my mates brewery , they were silly cheap and I expected to slowly replace them with better ones to keep the costs low at the start, 2 years later of 24 7 running not a single one has failed and they read reasonably well tempture wise , I did use the 24volt ones but still amaze at the quality for the cost
@rlfvac4 ай бұрын
Hello thanks for watching and leaving a comment much appreciated. Thats great to hear about reliability. The lower voltage 12 and 24 volt models i have taken apart and would highly reconmend over the mains ones. the lowwer voltage ones use even simpler circuitry (less to go wrong) its based round the reliable AMS117 linear voltage regulator which is rated for 1A. The mains one have 2 components most likely to fail an ic which is unproven and capacitor that are rated 400v but the quality and longevity is questionable. the one thing i would of liked to of seen is a fuseable ressitor on the input incase the worst should happen. Not so much of a problem on a current limited dc supply but on mains if you get a fault you could get 10s or 100s of amps flowing. for around the £8 to £10 marks they are functional. negatives the quality of the soldering and the finish could be better.

These replacement red switches you have are they the same make as the older green ones they stopped fitting in around 2018, I know they look the same? These newer green switches feel so flimsy. I bought a new NVH200 in 2021 which luckily had a red switch on.
@rlfvac4 ай бұрын
Hello thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment most appreciated. The older style green switches are made by the same people arcolectric but have a diffrent part number. i assume these are the same as the red ones. but you never can tell. The new style green squared design switch they are absulote rubbish i have replaced at least 400 of them. I asset managed several hundred new 2021 machines and there was around 3/4 failing with in 3 years. it was crazy to start with loads failed around 6 months to a year. then it slowly dropped off. as a precaution any machine i refurb or manage gets the switch replaced. as the old red switches are still avalible and if you buy in bulk not that expensive. much cheaper than a reactive breakdown call.
@smilly94 ай бұрын
@@rlfvac 400 that’s a lot, you’d think Numatic would have realised considering they test the switch cycles from random batches. I have only ever had a switch fail on the many machines I’ve owned, it was one of the old green ones on a machine I donated to someone, it came back for repair. Unfortunately out of my 9 commercial dry vacs 7 have the squared Everel switch, not had any go yet but I’m sure it won’t be long, it does annoy me why they don’t add the power light to the cheaper machines, can’t cost them that much more. In 2017 I actually had a PPR240 with the light which was dead on arrival from the supplier, it was just a dead light but Numatic sent me a replacement machine, now I know how easy they come apart I would just replace it myself. On the Numatic Nuvac VNR200 model they appear to still make them with the older green switch, not sure why as the VNP180 and all others come with the dodgy one.

I've recently bought two of these Parkside wire strippers and I haven't use them yet, but I've seen others using them and I think they will do just fine. From what I've heard from others, is that the ones made by the big brands tend to be a bit sharper and do everything a bit easier. But yeah, these things are not meant to last for many years, unless of course you rarely use them and I just don't like paying premium for something that I will replace within a year or two.

are solar panels worth it ? according to money saving expert it could take 14years for them to pay for themselves . they recon a saving of £400 a year and at a cost of £7000 to buy . genuine question . ive a 2 bed house eco 7 heating which was working fine up until 3 years ago my bill has gone from round £70 month for 12 months up to over £220 a month for 12 months and now my house , which i only run the heaters for less than 5 moths of the year , is not that warm , in the last frosty spell living room was down to 15 degree . without some kind of grant to get a battery and pannels 7 grand doesnt seem worth it
@rlfvac Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. In my opinion solar panels are worth looking into. Everybodys situation is different i would always reconmend starting with the basics managing and monitering your installation looking for savings. For example if you already havent swapping lights for led versions good led bulbs can use 10% of the power of incandescent or a third the power of cfl. its a nice cheap starting point. i reconmend purcasing some plug in power meters and looking for vampire loads. cutting half a dozen of the small loads can add up massively. but data is what you need if you contact a solar installer with your data they can design and price a system that works best for you.
@robinbennett5994 Жыл бұрын
It's probably not worth buying that sort of system. It will generate far more power than you can use in the middle of the day during the summer, and not a lot during the winter, and you don't get paid much for exported power. However you can get a quick return with a much smaller system, say a single 400W panel and microinverter (on a shed or low roof so you can install it yourself). That's because your house probably uses 400W or less during daylight hours, so this small system will match your demand whenever it is sunny. If you get 1000 hours of generation a year and pay 30p a unit, that saves you £300 a year, which is about the cost of the panel and micro-inverter - a one-year payback! A big system might make sense with a battery, so it can power your lights in the evening but it's still only going to be a fraction of your total bill as your bill is mostly for heating, and you don't get much solar at the time of year you're using heating.

Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. my system was built at the same time the shed was built and wired up but i can roughly break it down solar panels i bought 8 for £150, Inverter was £180 unistrut and other other bits cable, bolts, consumables etc probally another £200

I have 4 100W panels 2P2S I measured 2.1V, on a full moon as well, over here in Halifax Canada. On a Sunny day 2 in series makes around 50V. I Measured the full moon voltage open circuit. I'm not sure about the Amperage.
@rlfvac Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. Great to see my finding ere repeatable on other parts of the world. Current would be increabily low
@Ruralmn Жыл бұрын
The issue is not voltage but amperage. Volts open circuit measurement is pretty artificially elevated. Without out something drawing that power it's alowed to build up voltage. I would bet most of that voltage was cut off at sunset. Maximum lunar output is less than 1 watt per square meter while solar output is around 1000 watts per square meter. Of note any voltage buildup in the lines will go to your inverter when you get sun. So you are generating some power from lunar output just no where near what you think you are.
@rlfvac Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. Voltage and current are both important. You need minimum 50V for the inverter to kick in. I agree open voltage is slighlty inflated as when you load the system the voltage drops. The fact you need just under 100 panels to theroreticaly reach the required thresh hold. Shows how small amount you get from a full moon. My system at the moment is a high voltage low current system running 60v panels.
