Hey Zach! As always, great review. Terrific shoe! Been wearing a pair since this review first came out and I need you opinion on them though. SIZING?! I normally wear a size 13 so that I have about a half a thumbnail extra room to protect against toe jamming in most other shoes. With these shoes, a size 13 gives me acres of space in front of my toes because of the pointy toe shape of the shoe. Other than that, it fits great. Do you think I need to size down to a size 12 to get a better fit or leave it as it is. A size 12 1/2 would probably easily be possible if they had one. What do you think?

Hello Zach, I have two shoes, Asics speed ff3 and Adidas Cybersonic. I really like both, but sometimes I play 4-5 hours a day and my feet starts to hurt. For that reason I want to try something new. Do you recommend Solematch Control 2 for that case?

So Im on my 3rd set of Mach 3's . I (based on your review ) just bought the Selkirk Courtstrike Pro. The Pro shoes arrived and are too wide in the toe box relative to the Mach 3. and they are heavier, 461 vs 370 grams US M12. thats 91 grams or 3.2 oz. ! I dont think I'll be able to downsize .5 , to 11.5 as the toe box fit just won't allow it. Does Babolat have any outsole warranty ? I wear through the ball of the left foot so fast. like 2 months of PB. I was hoping the CS Pro were going to be the answer, but compared to the M3 , they are pretty much bricks. (at least when new).

@Aaron-mn2ro10 күн бұрын
@@dunsdonjone1537 not really a takedown model though, just seems to be a difference in upper construction.
The two disadvantages are - 1. The rubber sole becomes hard as stone over time. 2. The rubber at the top is cracking. The plus is the mesh that cannot be torn off, the second plus is that it is light and comfortable

After watching the dumpster fire of a shoe Ubersonic 5 review - I purchased the Yonex. If anyone from Adidas is reading this you need to hire the Yonex shoe designers bc this shoe makes your new UB5 feel like a brick. It's not even close between the two. Save your money and purchase the Yonex if you're in the market for speed.

Hey Doc. I find your videos very informative and am ordering a pair of these Babolat sneakers to play pickleball. I would appreciate if you could review Tyr’s CXT-2 Court Trainer. They are advertised to take your pickleball game to the next level.

Zach, Interested to know your opinion as to which Yonex shoe you feel is most STABLE? As an a player with flat feet that over-pronates and one prone to rolling ankles, stability is of primary concern. You have rated both the Ad Accel and the Eclipsion 5 as extremely stable. Which would you pick if you had to choose?

I love my Eclipsion 4s for tennis and pickleball. Only issue I have with that shoe is a slippery tongue I have to constantly reach down to center again. Looks like the Ad Accel wouldn’t have this issue. If I made the switch to this shoe, how differently would it feel than the Eclipsion? Looks like this one has a fairly high heel drop so thinking it may feel a bit different overall. Thanks!

Another great and informative vid! I’m on the search for pickleball shoes and the Court Bursts just arrived today. My narrow long feet feel like they fit perfectly in these. Very similar feel to my Yonex Eclipsions that I have for tennis. There is just one concern that is holding me back from for sure keeping these. The heel drop is 8mm I think. Not sure what the Eclipsion heel drop is, but it feels less than the Bursts. I can definitely feel my heel striking quickly when walking and with all of the side to side movements with pickleball, not sure this high of a heel drop is going to be bothersome as I play. What are your thoughts on heel drop for pickleball/tennis playing shoes? Am I overthinking this? Or should I actually look for flatter shoes for the pickleball court? Really want these to work since they fit so well. Thanks!!

Thanks for the video. How would you compare this shoe to the Lacoste's AG-LT 23 Ultra? I've been going back and forth between Eclipsion 5's and AG-LT 23 Ultra's.
@derekelderАй бұрын
I have all three for pickleball and prefer either the Lacoste’s or Ad Accel’s. I stopped using the Eclipsion 5’s after a few wears because I didn’t find them fast or comfortable. My current rotation is the AG-LT 23’s for max performance (they are superior moving laterally), the Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour’s for comfort, and the Ad Accel’s for performance/comfort or for performance over 2 hrs. If I could only choose one shoe it would be the Ad Accel’s because I feel like they have no major compromises. Some shoes might be slightly better in some aspects, but they are so good across all categories that they’ve become my favorites. The Lacoste’s compromise a little midsole and lateral flange comfort for performance, but I have a slightly wide foot so maybe the lateral flange won’t be uncomfortable to you.
@d_13g0Ай бұрын
@@derekelder Thanks. I was wondering if the Ad Accel's would function like AG-LT 23 Ultra's with better durability
@derekelderАй бұрын
@@d_13g0I can’t say yet since I’ve only had them for 2 months, but I am going through the Ad Accel’s tread fairly quickly. I thought I saw someone else experience the same. For what it’s worth, I like them so much I already have a 2nd pair ready.

I've been playing adv-intermediate rec pickleball with them for about a year. I switch between them and the Skechers Viper Pros- feels a bit lighter in the mid-sole, amazing comfort and fit in the heel. I have a slightly wide foot and both shoes fit great. the SFX feel very similar to the Jet Machs but with a more flexible, slightly wider feeling toebox. The Jetmachs are great for tennis to PB bc they bridge the gap between traditional tennis shoes and pickleball shoes designed to be lighter and emphasize quick, stable movement. yeah, the soles are not tremendously cushy and for me the ortholight was not enough so i switched to the Move gameday pros (you can easily use the gamedays too.) tennisexpress has great prices.
