I love how RWD is retained, rather than making the new one AWD, unlike Lamborghini or Bugatti. It gives the car an “American” touch. Because RWD is more popular than AWD for performance vehicles, especially in America where many such iconic vehicles were RWD-only.

It's stock. I have never done the airbox mod. Carb always stock also to keep it all as reliable as possible.

This video was the all seasons it came with, but the next three sets I put on it were just the cheapest tires I could possibly find on amazon, and that has been great for drifting!

I turn the wheel in really hard and give it full throttle to break the tires loose, then as soon as the rear tires start coming around I am counter steering and feathering the throttle to keep it going. I will try to make a video showing this soon!

My Model Y Perfromance has "Track Mode" on it and when it is in track mode, you can select "Drift Mode" to put th power to the rear wheels and take off traction control. Hope that helps!@@xercata

i js got my 24 model y performance but it doesnt break loose, im thinking its the new tires. even full lock turn and fill thorttle doesnt break the back loose at all in drift mode

@@DerkPerformance YEs, you have to have the performance model and use track mode so you can disable the traction control and put all power to the rear wheels.
