Just beautiful! Curious about your finger protectors. I've never seen any like them. Can you tell me where you got them and do you use them for all your stitching projects? Thanks!
@lyndacreates12 күн бұрын
Hi! Thank you so much. I bought the silicone finger protectors on Amazon. They are just that extra little padding I need sometimes and are very comfortable. They also have silicone thimbles for hand sewing. Thanks again.

I am so fascinated by this technique and hope to give it a try on a much smaller scale. Yesterday I thrifted a mini hoop, fabric scraps and embroidery thread so I want to try making a tree ornament. I am very much a beginner so I really appreciate your clear explanations and concise editing.

Reading your comment just made my day! I first experimented with stitching a stamp in 2016, see it here: lyndacreates.com/2016/01/01/welcome-2016/ . It was small and very quick and easy to make. I didn't realize how doing that one little project would make me so happy years later. Thank you for your encouraging comment. Happy crafting!

This adorable! What kind of material do you use?
@lyndacreates23 күн бұрын
Thank you! I use a variety of thrifted fabric. This piece was part of a remnant from an upholstery store. It is a medium weave and feels like a soft synthetic material. Hope that helps.

New subscriber...I'm just beginning to use slow stitching with my mixed media drawings/paintings so this is helpful to see embroidery stitches up close. And I enjoy just watching you stitch without music in the background.

I love how interchangeable the characters are! Do they work with the Making Faces dies too?
@lyndacreates5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the sweet comment. These are supposed to be younger children sizes so the Making Faces dies are slightly too large. Love that you saw the connection. A teen or adult doll would be better suited to the Making Faces shapes.
