reasons why Kihyun became my new favorite member (my first one was Hyungwon due to his acting skills in music videos) because of how he told that young girl to rebel against the "respect your elders" mentality during an autograph sign this mentality is one of the many reasons for the suicide rates in South Korea

I didn't realize Wonho helped to design his stage outfits! Just when I thought I couldn't love him more, that is so amazing and of course he looks incredible in anything he wears. The fans opening up to Kihyun also speaks volumes. It's difficult enough to speak coherent sentences in front of the people you support and these girls opening up about deeply personal, scary feelings to essentially a complete stranger is powerful. And Kihyun (or any of them I'm sure) being visibly hurt, it's obvious they would do whatever possible to fix the situation if they could. Monsta X is the absolute best set of guys, the world doesn't deserve them 💙

wonho seems to be their educator & reminder for the broader social topics they don’t already have a passion for themselves, it’s super relieving to see him even call them out on broadcasts when noticing something that’s close-minded has been said. I really hope the years he spent with jooheon helped changed his past opinions (homophobia & racism) as well as taught all of them to continue to educate themselves now that he’s no longer in the group. it’s disappointing to see wonho’s past catch up to him after he’s worked on himself & changed, but the opportunity he got to go solo definitely feels like “reward” FOR doing that changing. Support monsta x and solo wonho!!

Sadly if some of you didn't know 5 or 4 years ago joohoen try to "talk black" on a show when the Mc ask him too, and he also said the n word 2 times when he was rapping. He didn't apologize but he did show some growth, he never did it agian, but he still didn't apologize. I know he's a good guy but that's just not right I still stan them because they're probably the only group beside seventeen that actually learn and show growth. When i found out about this I was really disappointed but at least he learn and grow from it, but still not forgotten by me.

Still waiting for some famous celebrity to bring up the issues about men. I know, this isn't related to the video but I need to say this out. Men are catcalled, abused, sexually harassed BY WOMEN (don't bring that men to that to men card) yet no one gives a damn as they are men, they are supposed to enjoy sexual attention by a woman. If a man respectfully admires a woman about her good lucks and stuff, he immediately turns into a simp but a woman can go around talking about men's abs, dicks and y'all join into the 'fun'. It's wrong for a man to desire to date a curvy girl, cuz they are being pervy and bodyshaming but almost every single girl wants her boyfriend to be tall, muscular, broad and what not. Most of the so called feminists nowadays are just man haters. When it was supposed to be a gender equality thing. Y'all say woman are used as toys, but so are men. A woman has the legal rights to keep her earned money for herself AND take her husband's money. But the husband cannot take the wife's money and has to feed the whole family like wth. Dauri, a tradition followed among the desi people where they send some kind of fortune with their daughter when she is married off. Y'all say that's wrong and stuff but yet in many cultures the man has to buy a thing which the wife chooses before marriage, with no limitations. And it's the best culture somehow. Y'all want women to be treated like queens but if a man calls himself the king of the house, y'all cancel him saying he is oppressing his wife. Man sexual harassment is only considered if it's by another man, if it's by a woman, no one will believe. And not to mention if that woman says that the man was Harrasing her, the man immediately becomes the bad boy without any proofs. Man rape by a woman is also not important as it the man who is penetrating, why could he feel any kind of pain. Why could he feel any kind pain even though a part of him is being taken away. Y'all hypocrisy is showing. Most woman nowadays see every man as a danger, but if a man sees a group of women oogling over him, he is lucky?

I don't know how to describe it, but they just make me feel safe. One of the things that especially drew me to them was how they truly don't give a shit about traditional gender roles, and also how they acknowledge and appreciate how their fanbase is not all-female. I'm genderfluid, so I don't especially identify with either male or female, but since I was born female I tend to feel less comfortable with feminine things. When I got into kpop I had to accept that it is a genre with mostly female fans, but knowing that these seven men are out there, doing their best to make everyone feel welcome and loved even if they don't fit the "stereotypes" of a kpop fan, makes me feel a sense of peace and safety.
