I wish this song didn’t hit so god damn hard. I wasn’t an addict, but I do view this as an anthem to my Christian deconstruction and leaving my church. It reminds me of the words they told me when I turned away and never went back “the birds flown the coop and broke his singing voice we can’t wait for you to change, we tried, so until that day goodbye”

its on an EP for the prize fighter inferno, also has elm street lover boy on it. Its really great for an EP unfortunately neither this or Elm street lover boy are the blue room versions. Still great though
