Hi, great to find these adverts, I worked for Direct.gov, noticed the videos are labelled incorrectly. There is no .com at the end. Directgov, later became GOV.UK (thanks for posting these)

Winscale turned out to be a poorly managed facility with leaking storage ponds and a dump area with no records of what was left there. It later transpired there were tons of highly radioactive material there which leaked into waste water drains and contaminated miles of local beaches, these are still being constantly monitored and will remain contaminated for thousands of years. This is one of the reasons there is so much opposition to new nuclear power stations in the UK. New stations will be much safer but human error and unforeseen accidents and events will always pose a threat of danger.

I just did the calculation (forgive the pun) on that top of the range Vatman = £400 in today's money. To think it's just one of dozens of functions on your mobile phone and free today. Extraordinary.

Tell you what, I wouldn’t have worn those Brutus jeans. I don’t like the way they looked on. They seemed to be designed to emphasize things that I don’t want to emphasize. Modesty forbids…
