Elsie sure had mellowed by this time. I cant imagine her putting up with Susie's obvious antics in earlier days 😮

Imagine; a decent guy comes along, treats you like gold, gets along with everyone in your life, and takes you away for a vacation. When you get back, you throw the first guy over go out to dinner with some rando you met _on_ said holiday. Eeeeee Elsie.. wot the hell are you doing?

37:03 Did Bernard (Stan) forget his line as a sign of his illness and Jean (Hilda) improvises her next line around the storyline of the pub being short staffed hence the end of the scene cutting.

Loving these classics, as i was a kid at the time. I tend to zoom through them as i am hooked and obsessed with this great stuff and the humour is out of this world. Right from the start i have watched what has been available. So much time and effort has goine into this, unbelievable time I would assume and I am truly appreciative. Not looking too forward to meeting up to where i left off hence me going back to the 60s. ❤️.

I'm sorry but got to say,but Marion saying to Elsie ,I know Eddies nothing to look at and needs his teeth sorting but I love him blah! blah! blah! 🤔SORRY BUT,she's got to be joking 🤔 her mouth and teeth are so crooked and makes her face look distorted so she nothing to look at either, she dsnt exactly turn her heads herself,so was abit gobsmacked she said that and she does give a air about herself that she thinks looks good,I never really like her acting ,she really did think she was Somthing🤔I do agree about Ivy too and I hate too see a grown man kiss his mam on the lips👎on the cheek yeah ,but ivy holds his cheeks and kisses him on mouth Yuk! Disgusting,he's not three,as for Fred g cldnt stand that man and hated it even more when Unise came into it, very very boring that whole Story line done my head in.

I love how dierdre was in a snit because Ray and Len had a 60/40 split. She made a big stink about wanting it to be 50/50. Len gives him 50/50. When it came time for this big job, Len took out the loan for the materials. The Langtons were happy to not put up a penny. When the materials were ruined, and Len was stuck with a huge loan for ashes, the Langtons were happy to say "too bad, so sad, that's your problem, mate." They weren't willing to put up any of their assets. Now that the job has gone bust, and Len is on the hook for twice the cash, the Langtons are again only too happy to fold their arms and shrug their shoulders, and let Len swing in the breeze. 50/50? Len and Rita (two people I don't like at all) are expected to put up 100% of the cash, and shoulder 100% of the risk, so that the Langtons can _take_ 50% of the profits. The langtons missed their true calling: cherry pickers.

This showed up on my home page as a possible video of interest and as I started watching Coronation Street with my mum when I was about 8 which would have been around 1983 I gave it a view! Feels like I might have to watch some more I continued watching up until the mid to late 90s I loved the mix of real life and funnier moments that you got perhaps if they did more of that now it would gain back some viewers!
