פלא שהרב מזכיר באותו שיעור את הרמב"ן על פרשת בא, ואומר שכוונתו אמונה בניסים דרך הטבע, והרמב"ן בהקדמה לאיוב שאומר שלא יכול להיות נס דרך הטבע.

i give up. i can't listen to this. i hear him just fine when he is talking right into the microphone, but every time he turns his head away from the microphone, i just can't hear him. i see there are several comments on here, so other people dont seem to have this problem. in any case, this is very frustrating, because i really wanted hear what he had to say about this obviously very important and timely subject

what a pleasure it has been to watch this video, and i am not even religious

for the first half or so of this video, i got next to nothing out of it, due to him speaking in Hebrew/Yiddish more than half the time. that may work for Chareidi Jews, but it excludes just average, regular Jews like myself. fortunately, however, as the video went on, he spoke more and more in English, and then it was quite good. even then, though, i wondered how what he said is in any way a commentary on this week's Torah portion

This is 100% true that עם ישראל is successful through the merit of Torah learning. How does that exempt someone from going into the army? Do you think that the hesder boys or the נחל חרדי boys don't learn? ועוד איך do they learn and they learn while they are in aza. So while all עם ישראל thanks its learners (which includes the learners in black מדים and in green מדים you can also go into aza and help your fellow Jew. לא תעמוד על דם רעיך Don't forget ביחד ננצח

Thank you very very much for putting such high-level Shiurim on KZbin . The zikui harabin is immeasurable. (By the way R Gustman became dayan to take his father in law place. Yeshiva bachurim did not get married in their teens. He did get married very young for those days but not in his teens . I remember asking my grandfather how old rav Gustman was when he became dayan and he said in his early twenties.My grandfather was Rabbi Gustman's friend in Grodno and his chavrusa for many years here in America)

"לא תעמוד על דם רעך" "האחיכם תצאו למלחמה ואתם תשבו פה?" Where in Judaism does it say that you can leave all the dangerous stuff to others? No-one wants to close down the yeshivos and kollelim. They just want everyone to do their fair share to protect the country.

לעניות דעתי סיבת החשדא המיוחדת בחנוכה היא מחמת עצם המצוה שיהודי יצווה להוציא את האור הגנוז לרשות הרבים זה הפך היהדות עד כאן אלא שכמו שמחמת כניסת היוונים פנימה "פרצו חומות מגדלי" הביאה למצווה חדשה שלש עשרה השתחוויות כך נסיונם לגרום לנו שיבוש פנימה בהדלקה בשמן טמא שיאיר אור אטום מכאן מתחיל אור משיח להפציע החוצה וזה מקור החשד שמעולם לא שמענו שאור כל כך פנימי וגנוז תרתי משמע נחוב לגלותו החוצה

אני משוכנע שכבוד הרה"ג איננו רואה "לייקים" בערוץ היוטיוב..אבל בכל זאת אני מרגיש צורך להביע תודה ורגשי הנאה רוחנית מהשיעורים ולכן משאיר "לייק" ואני מבין גם שהאלגורטימים המיחשובי יוצר תפוצה ברשת ואולי יגיע לתודעה ליותר אוהבי ומוקירי תורה בכלל ושיעורי כבוד הרב שליט"א בפרט..

First I think the Rav's teaching on this is a welcome relief for those like me who have carefully avoided strawberries for many years, now at least there is a reasonable teaching to weigh on the side of permitting them - it seems like the last several years many rabbis were competing with each other to prohibit fresh fruits which are known to be healthy. My little son asked me, "Daddy, why did Hashem make fruits if only the goyim can eat them"!! Secondly, regarding soap, I think the Rav knows many people use dish soap to clean with and this is not healthy, but there are other soaps made for washing fruit, and maybe he would be fine with those
