I saw an ad for this series for aprox us 153 dollars. It is used, very fine conditon. Is it worth it? Recommend another collection? Nice review, and kudos on the playlist tip :)

Honestly have a look on Amazon. They’re currently listed there new for around the same amount on my end anyway. I think these are nice quality, some people really like the 3 massive hardcover omnibuses but they’re pricier

Is this different from the comedy in the anime because brotherhood comedy was the only thing I did not enjoy in the show?

Brotherhood is basically a scene for scene adaptation from the manga. I will say that personally I think that sort of slapstick comedy works better in manga form because they’re just small gags that you can move on from very quickly. A lot of jokes are single panel and so they don’t affect the pacing. In anime they can drag out over 1-2 mins and make you roll your eyes a bit

Such a great edition. There was a period of time where I’d read one or two chapters every night in bed, and the art always left me fascinated (and occasionally disturbed lol).
