I appreciate your explanation and breakdown. However, I wouldn't have put this question with the Metabolic Acidosis header, but rather with anything more related to DM. Fortunately, I already knew that DM and ketoacidosis went together. Still, I was beginning to lean toward #1 Respiratory Acidosis because where your explanation stated that the body would put itself into respiratory alkalosis. The words are so close (acidosis vs alkalosis) that it could trip up someone trying to study for the exam. I am enjoying your videos, Thank you!

I just use what the scorebuilders book has for pharmacology, anything else I see pop up I just google. Some people have some good pharmacology quizlets out there!

anatomy!! that's basic and doesn't change depending on teacher/program. having a strong base of anatomy and shorthand medical abbreviations for SOAP notes will give you a good start. i didn't really have to know a lot of anatomy until my second semester though.

Question, I did super well in PTA school got all A's. I took a practice score builders exam in May and got a 70%. I took one yesterday and got a 66% and am freaking out. I do not take the test until October but we have to pass a practice PEAT in 4 weeks before we can graduate. What should i do? I have been studying a good amount going through the scorebuilders book, I just started watching 4 of your videos and they help tremendously.

Thank you for the video! I am definitely afraid of getting this mixed up with Bell's Palsy. Since Bell's Palsy is VII which is both motor/sensory and Trigeminal Neuralgia is V which is also motor/sensory nerve, is the difference then just the presentation of symptoms? Sharp stabbing pain = trigeminal and facial drooping = bell's palsy?
