Caught this while looking for brickwork tips you’re shown what is needed in the prep and how to point in different ways. The last one with the mortar gun brought back memories 10years ago when wanted to do pointing on my garage ex walls as it was eroded so brought a gun but I ended up with compacted mortar at the base and oozing water at the tip. Not sure if then mortar was right mix or fluid not right so gave up got pro in, he said only Diy’ers use them when try to it to him. After watching you I will now see if I can dig out my gun and practice with it. Top video 👍

Are you sure that was sprayable..That looks very gloopy to me,surely it should as runny as water ,so not to get any blockages and be in a pourable container .

Ive had the 550s for a long time now and love them, the only thing i dont like is the silly pull out stands on the legs which arent very well thought out, easy break off as they dont fit quite right or at least mine never did, Also they mark doors and or mdf if rested on them because of the way they are designed to fold around the legs they are thin edges of metal you sit on.

Yes it would be nice if Senco will offer tool boxes instead of the bags .. oh, this is for the U.S. market. The bags are way too cumbersome.

Absolutely fantastic video. Agree with previous comments, you should be teaching! Every time I started wondering about an issue, as if by magic you answered the question a few seconds later. Thank you, Tibby.

Informative presentation. But. Test is on level floor. All these horses like he showed lack one thing tgey are all thin metal. You cant clamp people have standart clamps. Next nobody cuts up. So that option is useless. Now lets look at those flimzy legs. Bigest issue you see. Push from side and it will brake. Legs have no support. So top may have shape supported by 2x4 ,but legs. Why they never use thicker metal we would pay and use not u shape . And why im thinking i can build same evwn from metal just times stronger. The second you try to clamp from below this metal will start bending

I bought one of these & sent it back when I read its only to be used with water based stain. I don't trust or like water based stuff, & will only use oil based creosote,-so I bought an Osatu Kale, which I'm told will work OK with creosote!

Make sure whoever you use that uses covers etc for dust not to go everywhere. They should be putting that on to prevent dust going everywhere. It will go everywhere, over your neighbours property, windows everything and inside if their windows are open. If the company doesn't know this already and doesn't use it then they don't know what they are doing and would avoid using them.

Never do this on old houses with solid walls. It will ruin the bricks. They will spall. Old houses are meant to breathe through the brickwork. Modern cement will block the breathing. Use lime mortar then the walls can breathe.
