How would you suggest pouring to get a consistent curly cue like that? So cute!!

I've done it intentionally on other soaps by pouring a thinner soap into a slightly thicker soap, and then pouring from a decent height (usually head level). I was surprised to see it in the cut, so maybe a fast pour into a slab gets the same result without height in a loaf mold.

I think this one was in the mold for a day or two, then in the freezer for another day. I was really fussy when we bought the tubes 🤣

I love the scent!! Funny story! I was looking for a recipe for a thieves soap. I contacted a friend who is an EO sales person to ask if they had a recipe for a body wash and lotion. She said, “No, but I’m making thieves scrub right now. Want some?” Of course I said yes! In the shower that evening, I opened it up and guess what kind of scrub it was? It was a scouring scrub for cleaning your kitchen and bathroom. 😭😭😭

Thank you! The scent lost the citrus notes, but still a really nice woodsy, leather, vanilla (it works). I'm a fan.

Hi! What percentage did you use the Australian Bamboo Grass FO at?

I used it at 3.5% of the total recipe... This was before NG changed the usage rates of some FO to stupid quantities. I think this one was changed to 1.5%. I do have a spreadsheet that I recorded usage rates and supplier notes when I buy the FO, it's irritated me to no end that some that were good for lotions when I bought them two years ago aren't rated lotion safe now, or ones that I bought for soap changed usage rates. It's like... Do I use this or not?... Ugh. I can rant about this to no end.

Although this is my least favorite fragrance ever( and also one of my top selling soap fragrance) I love the color palette. Great job

I'm glad I read the description, I was wondering what you had in the lye water to make it dark. The colors lightened up but that white heart really stands out. Do you find a lot of people like the fragrance? You used Nag Champa, correct? I made a soap with it and it only needed a small amount, it's pretty strong. Did you find the same thing? The aqua green is really pretty. Take care.
