Kamie is very beautiful and definitely a very smart coach . Then and now. She has made the cougars a tough team not to be taken lightly. The system with international players is winning and will continue to only get better.

Lastones,-Track Races, I could NOT concur more with your summation as my initial meeting with her over ten years ago was anything but pleasant, as was her assistant with a Spanish name were in cordial, lacked reverence toward me, and treated me like outsider. I am an Alumnus and still hold (4) four UNC Track & Field records(since 1980),and her lack of civility toward me was appalling and a major disappointment. I was the very first All-American (NCAA) in UNC history (X-C) and even qualified for Division I race against the Fastest and Best in the World. The upper tier of the athletic department simply displays apathy, a lack of Professionalism, and Ignorance to the obvious plight you have described. I am so glad that you had the intestinal fortitude and insight to levy this Grievance on Ms. Schick with her petty mentality games and being Judgmental on specific student/athletes! *** Cordially Yours, Business Owner & Employer, M.S., double B.A., U.S. Armed Forces Veteran, (Two-Honorable Discharges with Three Service Medals), Former Professional & World Class Athlete, and Justice Network National Legal Representative, Jeffrey J. "Be a Leader?" What a joke. My son lead and encouraged others. Schick met that with disdain and treated him like crap. She PUBLICLY belittled MANY on the team, as well. And said derogatory comments under her breath to them. Played favorites, played mind games. Brought to the schools attention (by countless complaints), this was ignored. I would caution anyone entering this program!!

Played for him for 3 years 2008-2011 you have no idea how great of a person he is and hilarious is an understatement. One time he came out to the mound to talk to the pitcher and as he hit the dirt he looked down and saw ants….proceeded to say “oh man we got ants” and walked off without ever talking to anyone. He keeps you loose. Really miss him a lot. As a 20 year old kid I wish I wasn’t so arrogant and would have appreciated him more than I already did.
