Can u help me, i tried charging my psp via pc with a cable that has 30v and my psp battery has 3.6v the psp stoped detecting my battery did i burnet my battery or is their a way to fix it.. please help

same issue but mine does turn on and still use it as normal but when i charge the battery through my psp it doesnt charge straight into the battery but the device itself and give it and external source how do i fix that

Same issue for me, the worst part is that I My psp keeps turning off when I unplug the charger.

its kinda look like cmos battery but its called supercapasitor. cmos capasitor. check it out

I replaced the old battery in my PSP because it didn't appear to fit as well as my new one did. This is how I fixed mine.

I had the exact same symptoms. But I replaced it with a new battery and it was cured. I don't know if it is a voltage issue or a model number issue.
